Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the contribution of parents in helping children understand diversity in social interactions. This study uses a survey research method with a questionnaire data collection technique. From the results of the study, two major themes were found that are related to the contribution of parents in helping children understand diversity in social interactions of young children. The first theme is the awareness of parents about multiculturalism, which includes an understanding of cultural and value diversity in society, as well as a willingness to recognize and appreciate these differences. The second theme is the contribution of parents in the way children understand diversity in social interactions, which includes parental support in introducing children to social and cultural diversity, as well as facilitating positive experiences in social interactions involving cultural and value differences. Therefore, parents should play an active role in educating their children and ensure that they introduce their children to social and cultural diversity from an early age.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan bagian Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui pembelajaran berbasis Project Based Learning (PJBL) di SPS TAAM At-Taufiq. Pembelajaran berbasis Project Based Learning (PJBL) dengan menggunakan permainan eksperimen gunung meletus dipilih karena dapat meningkatkan kerjasama anak. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 20 siswa di SPS TAAM ATTAUFIQ, yang terdiri dari 11 laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif jenis penelitian kualitatif memiliki sifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis. Indikator keberhasilan Penelitian ini jika diperoleh data dengan kategori baik (<66%). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan penelitian dari delapan indikator yaitu : setiap anak mau bergabung dan berinteraksi bersama kelompoknya, anak mampu terlibat aktif dalam permainan kelompok, tanggung jawab dalam menyelesaikan tugas, anak mampu untuk tidak ingin menang sendiri, anak mampu merespon dengan baik bila ada menawarkan bantuan, anak mampu bersikap tolong menolong dan membantu dengan teman, anak mampu membereskan mainan bersama-sama. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata nilai seluruh indikator dari seluruh anak sebesar 44,125% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86,875%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini berhasil dan dihentikan karena nilai diperoleh sudah mencapai 87% dengan kategori baik

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the extent of the influence of fun cooking in improving mathematics learning in early childhood. This article is based on the assumption that learning in early childhood will be more meaningful by playing and having fun for children. In general, mathematics is introduced to the process of counting, measuring, and weighing. Fun cooking was chosen for the method of introducing mathematics to early childhood because it can improve children's mathematical logical abilities in the cooking process such as counting, measuring and weighing food ingredients. The findings from this article are expected to help teachers in implementing fun mathematics learning for early childhood

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze integrated mathematics learning in early childhood education. Education for early childhood is one of the processes of growth and development that has a unique nature so that it has growth and development that is in accordance with the needs of the level of growth and development. This article is based on the assumption that early childhood should not be taught to count. Researchers used a meta-analysis of previous research and literature on mathematics learning in early childhood education. The findings from this article are expected to have a positive impact on the growth and development of early childhood. It is also hoped that learning mathematics in early childhood can be carried out with concepts that are truly in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood learning
