Abstract

Poverty is one of the goals of development and is used as a measure of the success of development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of price policy on poverty alleviation in Indonesia. The research model is compiled using time series data with a research time span from 1981 to 2014. The specification of the model used is using an empirical study of econometric analysis, namely multiple linear regression. The results show that the price policy simulation has an effect on poverty alleviation by 0.025%, namely by implementing a urea fertilizer price policy of 25%, the application of a policy of reducing government purchasing prices by 25% can reduce poverty by 0.035%, a simulation of a policy of eliminating government purchasing prices can reduce poverty 0.142% and the policy simulation to increase irrigated area by 15% reduces poverty by 0.002% while the policy to import rice 0% has no effect on poverty alleviation.
