Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh orangtua siswa/i yang kurang memperhatikan pendidikan anaknya, orangtua seperti acuh tak acuh terhadap anaknya, kurang memperhatikan kepentingan dan kebutuhan anaknya dalam belajar, kurang memperhatikan apakah anaknya belajar atau tidak, tidak tau akan kemajuan dan perkembangan belajar anaknya, kurang komunikasi antar orangtua dan anak, orangtua yang jarang menanyakan atau sekedar mengingatkan PR anaknya sehingga timbullah kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami anak dalam belajar sehingga menyebabkan anak kurang berhasil dalam pencapaian belajarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh perthatian orangtua terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bersifat kolerasi yaitu penilaian tipe yang bertujuan melihat dan mendiskripsikan pengaruh antara dua variabel penelitian. Populasi berjumlah 200 siswa/i, dengan pengambilan sampel 50% dari populasi (sampel berjumlah 100 siswa/i). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket.   Kata Kunci : perhatian, orang tua, hasil belajar   ABSTRACT The background of this research is that parents of students pay less attention to their children's education, parents seem indifferent to their children, pay less attention to their children's interests and needs in learning, pay less attention to whether their children study or not, do not know the progress and development of their children's learning, lack communication between parents and children, parents who rarely ask or just remind their children's homework so that the difficulties experienced by children in learning arise, causing children to be less successful in achieving their learning. This study aims to determine how much influence parental attention has on student learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach that is correlational, namely type assessment which aims to see and describe the influence between the two research variables. The population is 200 students/i, with a sample of 50% of the population (a sample of 100 students/i). The data collection technique uses a questionnaire.   Keywords: attention, parents, learning outcomes
