Abstract

Medical record is a file that contains notes and documents about the patient's identity, examination, actions, and other services that have been provided to patients. The purpose of this paper is to determine the processing of statistical data at Bhayangkara Padang Hospital using Microsoft Excel for the period January 1 – March 31, 2015 with 385 inpatients and 62 beds. Then, the data was processed using a computer using the Microsoft Excel application program. Statistical processing was analyzed and presented in the form of tables and graphs by Barber Johnson. Based on the RL4a report, the most age group is the age group of 25-44 years with 247 patients with male sex as many as 12 patients, and female as many as 235 patients, while based on the disposition of life 385 patients, and 0 patients who died. After processing the data, the BOR was 18.3%, rounded to 18%, the BOR value obtained was inefficient. BTR as much as 6.21 times, because the calculation of the BTR figure is per year, then BTR cannot be calculated. IT is 11.8 days or 12 days, the IT value obtained is inefficient. And ALOS is 2.68 days or 3 days, the ALOS value obtained is inefficient.

Abstract

Hospital accreditation is the process of assessing healthcare standards to improve patient quality and safety. One important aspect of accreditation is medical records management, which encompasses the effective storage, management, and utilization of data and information. Bunda Ibu Anak Hospital, Padang, as a hospital focused on maternal and child health services, has specific needs when implementing a medical records management system. The patient data managed at this hospital encompasses not only general medical records but also information related to pregnancy, childbirth, and neonatal care, which require more detailed and accurate recording. Therefore, this hospital needs to implement a document management system that all policies and procedures used are in accordance with standards. This PKM aims to provide understanding to medical record officers regarding the implementation of the Medical Record Management System at Ibu Anak Bunda Hospital Padang based on the MRMIK 3 standard. The expected benefit is to increase the level of knowledge of medical record officers regarding accreditation assessments based on MRMIK3 LAM-KPRS. This Community Service activity was carried out by providing socialization on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Mutiara Bunda Hospital. This activity was successful and ran smoothly. Suggestions from the MRMIK 3 accreditation socialization at Mutiara Bunda Hospital will be more optimal if the assessment process for health service standards is carried out continuously, strengthened by internal training and evaluation, supported by a special team and the use of an integrated SIMRS, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the hospital line
