Abstract

With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia, the government was forced to adopt an Emergency PPKM policy throughout Java and Bali. This has great potential in capturing moments that occur in public spaces. These moments can be captured using Street Photography techniques. This technique is a technique that uses a candid approach in making his work so that it can bring out the honesty of the expressions of the subjects in this photo work. Yogyakarta itself was chosen because this city is the city that has the most impact on the implementation of the Emergency PPKM policy. The method of creation in this work is using exploration and improvisation techniques. The concept in the creation of this work is to capture the moments that occur in public spaces in Yogyakarta in the form of events that occurred during the implementation of the Java Bali Emergency PPKM policy. The process of making this work relies on the use of a Fujifilm XA-5 mirrorless camera with a kit lens from that series. The creation of this work resulted in 16 works with the title Jogja PPKM Emergency, Quiet, Taking Photo of Me, Through by, Romana, Empty, Close, Reflection, Quality time, Pursue me, Social Distancing by reduce social gathering, Bregodo, Dhedhe, Terlelap #1 , Sleeping #2 and No Day Off.

Abstract

The increasing use of cell phones greatly affects the use of camera features. This hasgreat potential in increasing the number of people who want to learn photography. Mobilephone photography is usually used to capture moments that occur in public spaces.Utilization of this cell phone camera feature can actually be used to produce commercialworks. The technique used also refers to the basic techniques of photography. This techniqueis a basic technique that uses minimal equipment in shooting, the basic equipment onlyrelies on the camera. Another approach in making this work is to use 11 basic photographytechniques.The 11 basic techniques of photography are divided into three parts, namely thebasic techniques of light, the basic techniques of motion and the basic techniques of sharpspace. The basic light techniques are divided into front light, side light, back light andsilhouette. The basic techniques of motion are divided into stop action, slow action, panningand bulbing. The basic techniques of sharp space (def/depth of field) are divided into narrowdof, wide dof and selective focus. The author only relies on sunlight in the process of makingthis work. So the author needs to be careful in choosing the shooting time to suit the desiredlight conditions.The process of making this work relies on the use of a mobile phone camera fromthe Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. The creation of this work produces 11 works with 1 work each oneach basic photography technique

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis report describes the application of the Realist style to the directing technique of the short film Tersesat. As a report review, definitions, theories, characteristics, and characters of the Realist style are also disclosed. Furthermore, it was explained that the director chose a Social Realist style combined with Laissez Faire leadership theory to build the dramatic and artistic aspects of the production of the short film Get Lost.The results of the report explain that the Social Realist style is considered appropriate in the directing technique of the short film Tersesat. This is because the main character of the story, who is a family of farmers, is part of the proletariat, in accordance with the characteristics of the main character in the Social Realist style. In addition, the characteristics of the Social Realist style that uses natural acting are also appropriate to be applied to build the illusion of reality in the production of the short film Tersesat.Kata kunci : Film fiksi drama, Tersesat, Sutradara, Realisme

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mosques are not only places used for ritual worship, but also as a means for carrying out social activities, education, and as a means of strengthening social interaction in society. The Jogokariyan Mosque, located in Mantrijeron District, Jogjakarta City, has successfully transformed into a mosque that is famous for its good and innovative management and programs, especially during the month of Ramadan where there is the Jogokariyan Ramadhan Village Festival. This content is suitable to be presented in an audio-visual work in feature format. This feature work entitled "Pijar Islam Jogokaryan Mosque episode" tells about the presenter's journey to visit the Jogokariyan Mosque which is famous for its good and innovative programs. Viewers are invited to tour the Jogokariyan Mosque directly from interviews with sources. This work is included as a seasonal feature because it is presented for the Ramadhan program with a duration of 24 minutes. In this feature, the director has control over all technical and creative aspects by using an interactive approach, where interviews are the main thing to build the storyline. Interaction is not only carried out with sources, but also with viewers at home. The results of this audio visual work will show the beauty of the natural landscape, human interest, architecture and diverse ornaments in Yogyakarta with an Islamic pattern. It is hoped that this will lead to an atmosphere of a religious journey that is full of beauty and is expected to provide a complete picture in accordance with the director's wishes.
