<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Pundong, Bantul, Yogyakarta pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan sampel yaitu kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan perlakuan pendekatan kontekstual dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dan kelas VII G sebagai kelas kontrol dengan perlakuan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) pendekatan kontekstual dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis; (2) pendekatan saintifik efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP; (3) pendekatan kontekstual dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP. Population in research is the 7th grade students in SMPN 1 Pundong, Bantul, Yogyakarta in the lessons 2016/2017. From the class VII F as a class experiment whose were given treatment the contextual approach with cooperative learning method type of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and VII G as a class control whose were given scientific learning. The results of these research is (1) the contextual approach with cooperative learning method type of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is effective based on the mathematic problem solving skill of junior high school students; (2) scientific approach is effective based on the mathematic problem solving skill of junior high school students; (3) ) the contextual approach with cooperative learning method type of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more effective than scientific approach based on the mathematic problem solving skill of junior high school students.
