Abstract

The rapid development of the times has brought about significant changes in various aspects of human life. From day to day, week to week, there are constant changes happening to individuals, groups, and societies. Social changes that occur in society encompass economic, cultural, political, and educational aspects. These changes do not always lead to improvement but can also move in the opposite direction. An analysis of Social Change and Development at MTs YPAK Cigugur: A Review of the Role of Educational Institutions in Social Transformation aims to prepare human resources, such as the community, to face these changes. The purpose of writing this article is to study the data collection technique, which was conducted through direct interviews with sources and literature studies. The research results discuss the changes in students' social behavior at MTs YPAK Cigugur due to the use of smartphones. The use of social media among MTS students, especially in the ninth grade at MTs YPAK Cigugur, influences changes in students' social behavior, particularly within the school environment. Therefore, appropriate supervision by teachers and parents is necessary regarding students' smartphone usage. With good supervision, it is hoped that the negative impact of social media usage can be minimized, and students can use social media positively to support their learning and social development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of guidance and counseling management, particularly in services, assessment, and evaluation instruments at SMA Negeri 1 Parigi. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the factual evaluation instruments for comprehensive guidance and counseling programs do not currently meet the required validity criteria in the evaluation context. An alternative hypothetical model was successfully designed, and a refined and suitable model of evaluation instruments was produced. Furthermore, the study reveals that guidance and counseling planning focuses on designing services that meet the students' needs, implementation begins with forming organizational structures, execution follows the program with some constraints, supervision adheres to specific principles, and evaluation is conducted to measure the success of the planned program.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the form of recognition and problem solving of students at RA Bina Hasanah Pangandaran. This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of one class of students totaling 32 people. Data collection was carried out using problem solving skills test questions in the form of descriptions, and semi-structured interviews with subject teachers and several other students as additional information to support research results. The results showed that the four indicators of problem solving skills were in the good categcny. The percentage offormulating problems is 66.80%; developing a temporcny answer (hypothesis) of 75.39%; planning a solution of 76.95%; and re-checking/concluding 73.83%. Overall, the problem solving skills of RA Bina Hasanah students are in the good categcny with an average of 73.24.
