Abstract

Teaching materials are one of the important components in learning. The use of printed teaching materials does not contain complete material so that it makes the low learning outcomes of students. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of digital-based flipbook teaching materials for plate dance floor patterns as a solution to improve student learning outcomes. This research method is Research and Development (RnD) developed with the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were material experts, digital teaching material experts, teachers and fifth grade students. The method used to collect research data through observation, interviews, and questionnaires were used to obtain assessment data from material experts, digital teaching material experts, students, and teacher responses. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative data. The result showed thar the feasibility of digital-based flipbook teaching materials from material experts was 91,5% with a very feasibility category, while the result of the validation of digital teaching material experts were 95% with a very feasibility category. The results of this study indicate that digital-based flipbook teaching materials for plate dance floor patterns are suitable for use in learning dance in elementary schools.

Learning without using digital media that suits the participants' characteristics impacts arts learning outcomes at a low rate. This research aims to develop a digital encyclopedia of dance learning for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research method is Research & Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research subjects consisted of 2 experts, 1 teacher and 26 students. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, questionnaires and written tests. Quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The research results show that the digital encyclopedia received 83.75% validity from material experts and 96% from media experts, which is a very feasible category. The digital encyclopedia was assessed as practical, with 95% of students being teachers, 91% being small group students, and 94% being large group students in the very good category. The effectiveness of digital encyclopedias in learning activities is proven by increasing the average learning outcomes of students with an N-Gain value of 0.6490. It can be concluded that the digital encyclopedia has criteria for feasibility, practicality and effectiveness in learning dance in grade V elementary school. This research implies that the digital encyclopedia of dance can be used by elementary school teachers in dance learning activities.

Abstract

The use of learning media is essential for learning to dance. But teachers still need to use the media to learn to dance. The lack of use of this learning media can affect the students’ learning outcomes, as the study aims to determine. This study aims to assess whether the development of interactive video media based on Edpuzzle, the primary dance movement material in art lessons, can improve student learning outcomes. This research method uses research and development. The model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The source of this research data was obtained from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that material experts' feasibility level of Edpuzzle-based interactive video media received a value of 81.25% with feasible criteria, and media experts obtained a value of 95% with very achievable criteria. So, the products developed in this study can be used in learning dance at SD Kota Semarang. Based on the results of media trials, it can improve student learning outcomes. The pre-test and post-test learning results of students in small-scale trials have an N-Gain value of 0.78 with high criteria. While in large-scale trials, get an N-Gain value of 0.77 with high criteria. This research implies that interactive video learning media based on Edpuzzle can improve dance students' learning outcomes. Besides, this media also helps students understand the material, making the learning process more effective.
