Abstract

The aim of this research is to learn the factors that are influencing the satisfaction of the guests who spend the days and spend the nights at Solo Paragon Hotel. Solo is one of the cities which has many visitors who spend their time for spending their holidays by enjoying culinary or having refreshing. Many people spend their time and the nights because they have to attend meetings or do their jobs. Satisfaction of the hotel guests is very important for the hotel management. It is considered as the achievement when the guests feel satisfied during their stay at that hotel. Satisfaction of the hotel guests is considered as the main key the hotel must provide as it will deterrmine the survival of the hotel. So, the hotel must always try to provide it. There are four factors that can influence the satisfaction of the hotel guests of Solo Paragon Hotel, they are : English Speaking ability, hospitality, the concept of culture and the location of the hotel. The guests get satisfaction during their stay and the nights they spend at Solo Paragon Hotel because of the complete facilities, the nice hospitality, good service and the strategic location of the hotel. The data are collected from the guests of Solo Paragon Hotel who spend the nights there by filling out the guest reiew and by having the interview. Then they are analyzed using qualitative and desctiptive methods. The result of the research showed that the English Speaking ability, hospitality, the concept of culture and the location of the hotel can influence the satisfaction of the guests of Solo Paragon Hotel.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar komputer akuntansi MYOB dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya kosa kata bahasa Inggris dalam akuntansi, Pengantar Aplikasi Komputer, dan Pengantar Akuntansi. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Inggris dalam akuntansi, Pengantar Aplikasi Komputer, Pengantar Akuntansi terhadap prestasi belajar komputer akuntansi MYOB mahasiswa semester III Program Studi S1 akuntansi STIE St. Pignatelli Surakarta tahun ajaran 2020/2021 secara simultan maupun parsial.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa STIE St. Pignatelli Surakarta semester III Program Studi S1 Akuntansi, DIII Akuntansi dan DIII Manajemen Keuangan tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah 78 mahasiswa dan seluruh mahasiswa yang berjumlah 78 mahasiswa dijadikan sampel penelitian. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi dan tes. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas signifikansi sebesar 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0.05, maka penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Inggris dalam akuntansi, Pengantar Aplikasi Komputer, dan Pengantar Akuntansi secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar komputer akuntansi MYOB. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Inggris dalam akuntansi, Pengantar Aplikasi Komputer, dan Pengantar Akuntansi secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar komputer akuntansi MYOB.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguasaan kosa kata bahasa Inggris dalam akuntansi, Pengantar Aplikasi Komputer, dan Pengantar Akuntansi terhadap prestasi belajar komputer akuntansi MYOB mahasiswa STIE St. Pignatelli Surakarta semester III Program Studi S1 Akuntansi, DIII Akuntansi dan DIII Manajemen Keuangan tahun ajaran 2021/2022 secara simultan maupun parsial.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe the problem solution reflected in the drama ‘The Little Foxes’ written by Lillian Hellman, especially dealing with the problems in the South of the United States and the awakening spirit following its economic downfall.. The source of the main data is the text of the drama itself. The supporting data are collected through a librarian research. The data intrinsic and extrinsic data are analyzed and the results are presented descriptively. The findings show that the economic crisis experienced by the Southerners that are symbolized by the characters of ‘The Little Foxes’ was caused by the civil war, the fall of the aristocracy, the ambition of the New Southerners and the influence of the North.. Finally the author offers an alternative solution to overcome the conflicts by presenting Alexandra, who represents a young generation to realize a wise strategy of solving problems. She adopts aristocratic values that appreciate and respect very much humanity and justice, and at the same time she step forward confidently, facing the challenges as well as the opportunity of the new era. Alexandra is the symbol of an alternative solution. Key words: problems, economic downfall, awakening spirit.
