Abstract

The Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) are efforts to produce graduates ready for work according to industry needs. This includes the SKKNI for the sub-field of Funding and Services, covering four levels of qualifications for a prospective banker that include Teller, Customer Service, Funding Sales Representative, and Funding Product Development Manager. This study aims to determine the implementation of the SKKNI for Sub Financing and Services for Diploma III graduates at the current SMK level. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using observation and interview methods for data collection. The population in this study were all commercial banks and Islamic banks in Yogyakarta. From the questionnaires distributed to users, fourteen banks consisted of 9 (nine) conventional banks, and 5 (five) Islamic banks filled out the questionnaire. Constraints in the application of the SKKNI are caused by the qualifications of the positions regulated in the SKKNI. The gap between the provisions in the SKKNI and the regulations in force in banking is an obstacle for vocational schools in preparing graduates who meet industry demands.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of Islamic banking is using the concept of profit sharing. This characteristic distinguishes the operation of Islamic banking with conventional banking. In applying the concept of profit sharing, most of the activities of Islamic banking especially in the distribution of funds or financing are dominated by the profit sharing agreement. However, financing in the Islamic banking today mostly is dominated by features that use nonprofit-sharing agreement such as murabahah. This paper examines why financing non-profit-sharing still dominates the realization of financing of Islamic banking in Indonesia, and what solutions can do to increase the financing based on profit sharing concept. The paper is consistent with the objectives stated in the blueprint for the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, which states that the vision will achieve ten years. They are to establish Islamic banking system that is competitive, efficient, which meets the prudential principle, and to support the real sector through profit sharing financing and real transactions in the context of fairness, mutual help, and for betterment to achieve the mutual benefits for the society.

Abstract

The development of sharia banking in Indonesia makes the need for competent human resources continues to increase. It is an opportunity for vocational high schools (SMK) to produce graduates with sharia banking competencies, such as SMK Muhammadiyah Dukun in Magelang. However, the relatively new sharia banking department is one of the obstacles to producing competent graduates. SMK has problems in the competence of teachers and learning facilities. This service carries out several activities to deal with these problems, organizing basic training in sharia banking, carrying out practical field activities (in collaboration with practitioners and the sharia finance industry), internships in sharia financial institutions, create modules for teaching materials for the teaching and learning process) and assist in solving competency test case questions. The output of this activity is the availability of modules and certified teachers by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), which are indicators of mastery of related competencies.

Implications and Recommendations: Practically, this study provides strategic insights for heritage site managers to balance economic benefits with cultural preservation while promoting sustainable tourism practices. This research aligns with global trends in experience-based tourism and post-pandemic recovery strategies, where trust and satisfaction play a crucial role. Beyond contributing to academic discourse, this study also offers strategic guidance for managing heritage sites to enhance visitor loyalty. Contribution & Value Added: By emphasizing the importance of experience quality and loyalty dimensions in the context of heritage tourism, this research expands the theoretical framework while addressing practical needs in the tourism industry.
