Abstract

This research is motivated by the role of the Village Government in developing the Pasir Span Tourism Object in Sukamanah Village, Sindangkasih District, which is not yet optimal. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the village government in developing the Pasir Bentang tourist attraction in Sukamanah Village. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis. There were 7 informants. Data collection techniques are literature study, field study (observation and interviews) and documentation. The author uses qualitative data analysis techniques by processing data from interviews and observations to draw conclusions so that they can answer the problems in the research. Based on the research results, it is known that: The village government has not optimally carried out its role in developing the Pasir Bentang tourist attraction considering that there are several indicators of the dimensions of the role that have not been optimal, causing the development of the Pasir Bentang tourist attraction to be less than expected. This includes, among other things, a lack of response from the community in activities. deliberations on planning the development of tourist attractions and the lack of an active role in managing tourist attractions. Budget limitations mean that it has not been optimal in structuring the Pasir Bentang tourist attraction. Apart from that, the collaboration between Pokdarwis and LMDH has not been able to increase the development of the tourist attraction due to the lack of clear authority in managing the tourist attraction. As well as the lack of encouraging community participation in realizing sustainability and cleanliness at the Pasir Bentang tourist attraction and not being supported by the availability of human resources who have an understanding of the concept of tourism management so that tourism promotion activities have not been carried out routinely.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the Problem-Based Learning paradigm is used in social studies classes at SMPN 37 Samarinda and to determine the elements that facilitate and hinder its adoption. This study focuses on the use of problem-based learning to help students improve their communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. It is hoped that by understanding how Problem-Based Learning is applied in social studies education, this study will help teachers optimize more creative and successful teaching strategies and assist in the creation of learning tactics that are more in line with the needs of contemporary students. The application of the Problem-Based Learning paradigm in social studies classes at SMPN 37 Samarinda was examined in this study using qualitative methodology. Data collection techniques included recording, interviews, and observations. The findings of the study indicate that the use of the problem-based learning paradigm in SMP Negeri 37 Samarinda in teaching social studies effectively develops students' capacity for critical, imaginative, and cooperative thinking. Problem-based learning has succeeded in encouraging active student involvement through problem-based learning stages, supported by a curriculum that is adaptive to student needs, adequate resources, trained teachers, and a conducive learning environment, although it still faces obstacles such as limited time, resources, and student motivation.

Abstract

This research discusses the impact of using 3D animation, especially using the Plotagon Studio application, on material on organizational movement towards independence at Cendana DDI Samarinda Middle School, which has several objectives: 1) To find out the procedures for implementing learning with 3D animation using the Plotagon Studio application. 2) to find out how teachers and students respond to learning using 3D animation, especially with the Plotagon Studio application at SMP Cendana DDI Samarinda. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal that when using the Plotagon Studio application there are several procedures that need to be carried out. Apart from that, there were responses obtained from teachers and students regarding the use of 3D animation videos and the use of the Plotagon Studio application at SMP Cendana DDI Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the historical development of the Ronggeng Paser in Penajam Paser Utara (2017–2022) and the community’s efforts to preserve it. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach using historical methods. The study was conducted in Penajam Paser Utara. The findings reveal that the Ronggeng Paser has existed since the era of animism and dynamism, and its development in Penajam Paser Utara from 2017 to 2022 has shown positive progress. Preservation efforts for the Ronggeng Paser have been carried out through various means, including protection, development, and utilization of the dance in artistic performances and cultural festivals.
