Abstract

In the context of an increasingly complex modern economy, the role of financial institutions, especially Fiduciary Guarantees, is crucial in providing and protecting funds for people and companies. Fiduciary Guarantees play a crucial role in consumer financing, especially in the purchase of motor vehicles, by providing legal certainty for creditors and increasing trust in transactions. However, the use of Fiduciary Guarantees often faces obstacles related to legal complexity and procedures, as well as consumer protection and dispute resolution. Research on the role and challenges of financial institutions in applying the Fiduciary Guarantee to customers is relevant to improve the effectiveness of the financial system as a whole. A better understanding of Fiduciary Guarantee registration obligations and procedures is needed to ensure financial institutions' compliance with applicable regulations and to enhance customer protection. This research has the potential to provide better insights on how to improve the efficiency and compliance of financial institutions in applying the Fiduciary Guarantee, which in turn will support sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Kaolin, a white clay mineral composed mainly of kaolinite with the chemical formula Al2O3.2SiO2.2H2O, has been a subject of interest since the days of medieval western literature. This interest increased especially after the advent of a more empirical approach to pharmacology, the establishment of pharmacopoeias, and developments in mineralogy, chemistry, as well as pharmaceutical technology. The use of kaolin in pharmaceutical (both topical and oral) and cosmetic applications has become important. Although it has long been recognized as a remedy in traditional medicine, the use of kaolin as an active ingredient for various diseases continues to be researched. Unfortunately, research focused on the use of kaolin in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics is still fairly limited. Therefore, this article aims to highlight the role and benefits of kaolin in both fields. Kaolin has been shown to have antibacterial, antiviral, and antidiarrheal properties when administered orally, as well as serve as a skin-protective agent when used topically. Aside from being an active ingredient, kaolin is also often used as an excipient in pharmaceutical formulations, acting as a filler, emulsifier, suspending agent, and crusher. In the cosmetic world, kaolin is often used as a sunscreen and to treat the skin. This article is organized based on a literature review of various articles and journals relevant to the topic discussed.

Abstract

This research examines educational management strategies in multicultural schools with a focus on building tolerance and inclusion in the educational environment. Multicultural schools face unique challenges in integrating students from different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. This research aims to identify effective managerial approaches in creating an inclusive and tolerant learning environment. Through qualitative methods, data were collected from in-depth interviews with principals, teachers and students in several multicultural schools. The results showed that successful education management in multicultural schools relies heavily on inclusive policies, continuous teacher training and active participation from the school community. The implementation of a curriculum that values cultural diversity and extracurricular programs that promote intercultural interaction were also found to contribute significantly to building tolerance among students. This study suggests that national education policies should further support multicultural schools by providing the necessary resources and guidance to manage diversity. Thus, effective education management in multicultural schools can play an important role in creating a more tolerant and inclusive generation.

Abstract

This study was conducted at the Transportation and Informatics Service of Bungo Regency over a one-month period, specifically in February 2016. Its objective was to examine, describe, and analyze the implementation of telecommunications tower levies managed by the Bungo Regency Transportation Service. It also aimed to investigate the efforts made by the service to increase Regional Original Income through these levies and to identify and analyze the obstacles faced by the service in raising telecommunications tower levies in Bungo Regency to enhance Regional Original Income (PAD). Employing a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the research sought to understand the issues occurring at a particular place and time. The findings of the study revealed that management, often referred to as administration, is a systematic process aimed at achieving goals through planning, organizing, activating, and supervising. The efforts undertaken by the Bungo Regency Transportation and Informatics Service included outreach activities, enhanced supervision, establishment of cellular zones, and improvement of facilities and infrastructure for levy payment. The underlying issues in formulating levy policies to regulate telecommunications towers in Bungo Regency included the proliferation of such towers potentially turning Bungo Regency into a tower city. Additionally, ensuring legal certainty for entrepreneurs was crucial, ensuring clarity for telecommunications tower owners regarding imposed levies. Non-compliant tower construction concerning spatial planning aspects further complicated the policy formulation, with the levy intended to contribute to increased regional income for Bungo Regency.

Abstract

The mass media plays a pivotal role in shaping public perceptions of criminal cases, influencing how individuals understand and respond to legal issues. This study explores the influence of mass media on public perceptions of criminal cases through a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and media content analysis. It investigates how media framing and narratives shape public opinion, as well as the role of the media in shaping legal awareness and social justice. The study reveals that media framing often leads to bias and stereotyping, impacting public views of perpetrators and victims. Moreover, consumption of news without verification can increase fear and anxiety in communities. Media practitioners and law enforcement professionals feel pressure to produce sensationalized news, compromising accuracy and balance. Despite the potential of mass media to enhance legal literacy, its effectiveness depends on ethical news coverage and media literacy education. Collaboration between media and law enforcement is crucial to ensure information dissemination does not disrupt the judicial process. In conclusion, responsible media coverage is essential for fostering a fair and transparent judicial system, and this study offers insights for improving media practices and promoting justice in society.
