Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to describe technopreneurship strategies as an approach to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Padanglampe Village to increase the competitiveness of local products. The primary focus of the study is how the use of technology can strengthen the capacity for innovation, production, and digital-based marketing for the PKK women's group as program partners. Research Design and Methodology: The activities were carried out through the Community Service Program (PkM) using participatory training methods. The implementation included providing materials, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and mentoring on entrepreneurship, product innovation, digital marketing, and simple business management. Findings and Discussion: Technopreneurship training has been proven to improve participants' knowledge, skills, and digital literacy. PKK members demonstrated improved abilities in product design, marketing via online platforms, and optimizing technology in the production process. This activity also strengthened entrepreneurial motivation and opened up more competitive business opportunities. Implications: This program has practical implications for women's empowerment and village economic development, grounded in local potential. Technopreneurship training can serve as a sustainable model for village governments, academics, and MSME communities to strengthen business capacity, expand market access, and enhance the competitiveness of local products.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to increase the capacity of the Kapita Village community, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, to manage ecotourism based on the creative economy. Through the Community Service (PkM) program, training was conducted on ecotourism and creative economic development, with active participation from the community and local village officials. Research Design and Methodology: The methodology includes direct education through material presentations, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. This activity was carried out on November 9, 2024, at the Kapita Village Office, with participants consisting of the community and village officials. Data was collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively to identify changes in participants' understanding and attitudes towards ecotourism management and creative economy. Findings and Discussion: The results showed a significant increase in the community's understanding of ecotourism and creative economic concepts. There was an increased interest in starting small businesses supporting ecotourism, such as souvenir-making and tour guide services. However, inadequate infrastructure and environmental awareness still hinder effective ecotourism development. Implications: The implications of these findings suggest the need for collaboration between government, communities, and other stakeholders to provide sustainable training programs and infrastructure investments. This is important to improve the accessibility and quality of ecotourism destinations and encourage active community participation in creative economic development. Future research is recommended to conduct long-term evaluations of the impact of training programs and explore strategies to diversify tourist attractions to increase resilience to climate change and tourism market dynamics.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the influence of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earnings per Share (EPS) on the stock prices of companies included in the LQ45 index and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019-2021 period. The research hypothesizes that each of these financial metrics has a significant impact on stock prices. Research Design and Methodology: The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing secondary data from company financial reports on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The sample, comprising ten issuers, was selected using purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS 26) software to assess the relationships between the independent variables (ROA, ROE, NPM, EPS) and the dependent variable (stock prices). Findings and Discussion: The findings reveal that ROA and NPM positively and significantly impact stock prices, indicating that companies with higher returns on assets and profit margins are likely to experience increases in their stock prices. Conversely, ROE has a negative and significant effect on stock prices, suggesting that higher returns on equity may not always align with higher stock prices. Additionally, EPS has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, highlighting its importance as a profitability measure for investors. Implications: These results have practical implications for investors and company management, suggesting that improving ROA, NPM, and EPS can positively influence stock prices. However, the negative relationship between ROE and stock prices warrants further investigation. Future research should explore the underlying reasons for this inverse relationship and consider additional variables that may impact stock price movements.
