Abstract

Objective: Assessing a teacher's performance may involve examining how much they have achieved the necessary competencies. This research investigates the effect of digital literacy, innovative attitudes, and interpersonal communication on teacher performance. Method: The statistical survey methodology was employed in this study in order to substantiate its findings. The researchers of this study employed the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) to derive the latent variable values. This investigation was conducted at a public elementary school in Serang City, in the Banten Province of Indonesia. The Serang City region in Indonesia is home to 14 public primary schools. The study sample comprised 14 school administrators and 236 public elementary school teachers in Serang City, Banten, Indonesia. The sampling technique was random sampling. The questionnaire functions as the instrument for gathering data in this study. Results: The research uncovered four noteworthy and statistically significant discoveries. One is that a direct relationship exists between digital literacy and innovative mindsets. A direct relationship exists between innovative mindsets and teacher performance. A direct relationship exists between digital literacy and interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication and teacher performance exhibit a positive association. Novelty: This research is intriguing due to variations in emphasis, research participants, and incorporation of research factors compared to earlier studies. Previous research only examined digital literacy, innovative attitudes, interpersonal communication, and teacher performance. This research will combine digital literacy, innovative attitudes, interpersonal communication, and teacher performance into a single research topic.

Abstract

Objective: This Research aims to ascertain the relationship between school principal leadership, academic supervision, and achievement motivation on teacher performance. Method: This Research employs a statistical survey methodology to guarantee the precision of the findings. To provide forecasts, researchers used the partial least squares-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to ascertain the magnitude of latent variables. The research utilized the Smart PLS. The investigation occurred at a public elementary school in Tangerang, Indonesia's Banten province. Two hundred fifty elementary school teachers from Tangerang City, Banten, Indonesia, were selected as the research sample. A random sampling method was employed to conduct the sampling. Results: This research presents four noteworthy and statistically significant findings, building upon earlier research and discussion. An important factor is the direct connection between the principal's leadership and academic supervision, which exhibits a positive association. The principal's leadership has a direct and beneficial impact on teacher performance. There is a positive association between academic supervision and teacher performance. There is a positive association between achievement motivation and teacher performance. Novelty: This research presents novelty research that combines the variables of achievement motivation, academic supervision, principal leadership, and teacher performance into a single research topic. Furthermore, the current research distinguishes itself from prior investigations through its research emphasis, subjects, and participants. This research is novel in its attempt to incorporate multiple variables into a single unit for investigation and exploration. This research is intriguing due to variations in emphasis, research participants, and incorporation of research factors compared to earlier research.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the disparities in enhancing student learning outcomes based on learning methods and varying levels of student self-confidence, categorized as high, medium, and low. Method: This study employs quantitative methodologies utilizing quasi-experimental methods. The study uses a non-equivalent control group technique and follows a 2 x 3 two-way ANOVA factorial design. The study sample comprised 1000 students enrolled at the health Polytechnic Banten, an educational institution in Indonesia. The enormity of this scale requires the study to be divided into many portions due to the significant temporal and financial resources needed. Therefore, a sample size of 10.00% of the population was chosen. In addition, the researchers utilized a systematic random sampling method to determine the number of students involved in the study. Results: The research findings can be classified into three main areas. Firstly, there were significant differences in student learning outcomes between those taught using STEM learning methods and those who received bedside teaching. Secondly, variations in student self-confidence levels (high, medium, and low) also resulted in differences in learning outcomes. Lastly, an interaction was observed between the learning methods and the levels of student self-confidence, which influenced the overall learning outcomes as measured by the average pre-test and post-test scores and questionnaires. Novelty: The novelty of this research was variations from previous research in terms of emphasis, subject, results, and combination of research variables. Previous research only concentrated on STEM methods and self-confidence to improve student learning outcomes. Previous research only examined one research variable: STEM, bedside teaching method, and self-confidence.

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the correlation between servant leadership, supervisory competency, and teacher performance in school quality. Method: The results of this investigation were confirmed by employing a statistical survey approach. The structural equation model's PLS-SEM method for prediction was used to generate the values of the latent variables. The research sample comprised nineteen principals and two hundred thirty-one elementary school teachers from the Ciwandan sub-district of Cilegon City in Banten Province. Results: Structural model statistical studies show a positive relationship between servant leadership and supervisory competence. Supervision competency and school quality are not positively correlated. Servant leadership is positively correlated with teacher performance, and teacher performance is positively correlated with school quality. Novelty: The novelty of this research is that there are differences in emphasis, research participants, and integration of research components compared to other research. This study introduces novel research integrating servant leadership, supervisory competency, and teacher performance in school quality. This innovative research integrates multiple variables into a single unit for investigation and analysis.
