Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of educational background and work experience on employee performance at PT. Berkah Cipta Persada in Bekasi, partially and simultaneously. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and obtained a sample of 93 respondents. Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study are educational background has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 41.0% and hypothesis testing is obtained t arithmetic > t table or (7.957 > 1.986). Work experience has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination of 50.5% and hypothesis testing is obtained t count > t table or (9,641 > 1,986). Educational background and work experience simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 9.919 + 0.259X1 + 0.502X2. The value of the coefficient of determination is 55.1% while the remaining 44.9% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis test obtained value of F arithmetic > F table or (55,132 > 2,710).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of education and training on employee performance at PT Dipa Puspa Labsains Jakarta in a manner. The research method used is quantitative descriptive, the population is all employees of PT Dipa Puspa Labsains Jakarta, which is 40 people and uses a saturated sample technique because the number of populations is used as a sample. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and questionnaires. The analysis method uses the validity test method, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, hypothesis test. The results of this study are the Effect of Education and Training on Employee Performance at PT. Dipa Puspa Labsains, Jakarta, can be seen in the results of the multiple correlation coefficient value of 0.612. This means that there is a strong positive relationship between education and training on employee performance. The determination test between education and training on performance is 57%, which means that education and training contribute 57% while the remaining 43% is influenced by other variables unknown to the author. The results of multiple regression tests between education and training on performance are that if education increases by one unit, it will increase employee performance by 0.290 and if training increases by one unit, it will increase employee performance by 0.324. And if education and training (X1 and X2) do not exist = 0, then the performance value (Y) still exists at = 22.188. So the regression equation is Y = 22.188 + 0.290 (X1) + 0.324 (X2). The significant test is obtained from tcount = 4.040, thus, if tcount> table, namely 4.040> 2.026, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence between education and training on employee performance at PT. Dipa Puspa Labsains, Jakarta.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of training and human resource development on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning and Research Agency (BAPPEDA) of Depok City. The research used a quantitative method with an associative approach to measure relationships between variables. The population was 58 employees, all taken as samples with a saturated sampling technique due to the small, homogeneous population. Data were collected through questionnaires tested for validity and reliability. Analysis included validity, reliability, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation) multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing with t-tests and F-tests. The results showed all statement items were valid and reliable (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.6). The classical assumption test indicated data were normally distributed,free from multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation (Durbin-Watson = 1.997). Regression analysis revealed training (X1) and human resource development (X2) partially had a positive. Simultaneously, both variables had a significant effect,. In conclusion, training and human resource development, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive, significant effect on BAPPEDA Depok City employees.
