Abstract

Muhadharah activities are one of the muhadharah programs at the Roudlotul Qur'an Lamongan Islamic boarding school. the muhadharah activity program is one to train students to preach and lecture. not only that, muhadharah activities are activities to train self-confidence. Preliminary studies at Islamic boarding schools show that there are several problems in terms of muhaharah and self-confidence activities at the Roudlotul Qur'an Lamongan Islamic boarding school. Therefore, this research on muhadharah activities and students' self-confidence at the Roudlotul Qur'an Lamongan Islamic boarding school is relevant to do. The purpose of the study was to find out. The results of this study showed that the activities of muhadharah and the confidence of students at the Roudlotul Qur'an Lamongan Islamic boarding school, that: (1) Muhadharah activities were carried out once a week on Sunday nights. It is carried out in their respective complexes, consisting of the Qodim, Jadid, Rijal, Darul Amin complex. In the Darul Amin complex, there are no muhadharah activities because the Darul Amin complex focuses on memorizing the Al-Qur'an. (2) efforts to increase self-confidence from students in carrying out muhadharah activities at the Raudhotul Qur'an Lamongan Islamic boarding school, which is carried out by means of administrators at muhadharah activities always reminding scheduled officers or students to practice preparing their duties according to the division that has been obtained later with support among students and also motivating themselves and providing motivation to other students. (3) inhibiting factors and supporting factors for muhadharah activities, inhibiting factors and supporting factors are divided into two, namely internal and external factors. As for the internal factors, the influence on the individual students includes in terms of the influence of the background of the students who have different personality characteristics .

Abstract

This research is based on the effectiveness of learning kitab kuning Fathul Qorib using YouTube streaming media at the Raudhotul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School Talun Sukodadi Lamongan, which was basically carried out during the covid 19 period and until now YouTube streaming media is still used in learning kitab kuning kitab kuning because it is felt that this media is very helpful in learning. The purpose of this writing is (1) to find out the application and effectiveness of online learning using YouTube streaming media on learning the kitab kuning of fathul qorib at the Raudotul Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School Talun Sukodadi Lamongan. This research uses a quantitative approach using an experimental research design. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, tests and documentation techniques. It is said to be experimental because in this study researchers used two groups, namely experimental and control groups to see the difference between groups taught using YouTube streaming media and not. The results of this study, it can be seen that the use of YouTube streaming media can help students to better understand the material from the recitation of the kitab kuning kitab kuning even though they are not in the boarding school. The results also show that there is a significant effect of using YouTube streaming media on the learning outcomes of students and alumni, this is based on the t-Independent Test through the SPSS type 23 application with the t test results found a t value of 5,150 with a sig (2-tailed) of 0.000. Because the sig value <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the learning outcomes of the control class students and the experimental class after the test.

Abstract

The Smart Class Award program has become a primary focus in efforts to improve the quality of education in various institutions, particularly at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 09 Lamongan. This phenomenon is intriguing to study considering the challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions in creating a competitive learning environment with character aligned with the Pancasila student profile. This program is designed to address issues of discipline and classroom facility maintenance as well as to enhance student character, including faith, independence, creativity, global awareness, and critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Smart Class Award Program at MA Muhammadiyah 09 Lamongan, identify the challenges and obstacles encountered, and the factors influencing its success. Using a qualitative research method, data were obtained through in-depth interviews with various informants, including teachers, students, and the school principal. The data were then analyzed to understand how the program is implemented and its impact on the competitive values among students. The results of the study show that the Smart Class Award Program is effective in enhancing student competitiveness, as evidenced by increased collaboration, care, and willingness to share among students. The program also successfully improves student discipline in various aspects, including class attendance, uniform discipline, and school administration. However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as limited facilities and uneven economic conditions among students. Supporting factors for the program’s success include the boarding conditions of the students, which facilitate communication and class management, and the availability of sufficient time to manage the class, despite sacrificing some rest time. In conclusion, the Smart Class Award Program has great potential to continue improving the quality of education at MA Muhammadiyah 09 Lamongan, provided that the existing challenges are adequately addressed.
