Abstract

Education at the elementary school level is an important foundation for students on their educational journey to the next stage. The quality of the educational process in middle and high schools depends on how learning in elementary schools is designed by teachers. Therefore, it is very important for teachers to apply learning methods that suit the characteristics of students and are able to improve students' critical and innovative thinking abilities, as well as help students in solving the problems they face. Ideal learning does not only transfer knowledge, but also foster critical thinking, innovative and problem solving skills. Thus, students are ready to face various challenges in the future. The problem based learning (PBL) learning strategy or what is known as problem based learning can help students think more critically in understanding learning. Students will be grouped and asked to analyze a problem in depth, then conclude. This will create students' critical thinking skills that are in line with the abilities of elementary school level students

Abstract

Implementing inclusive learning strategies in madrasas or schools is an approach that aims to emphasize the importance of inclusion and acceptance for all students without exception. In an educational context, inclusive strategies can include a variety of learning methods and techniques that enable every student, including those with special needs, to learn effectively and feel welcome in the educational environment. Inclusive learning strategies in madrasas or schools can involve the use of differentiation approaches, collaboration between teachers and other educational staff, the use of technology that supports needs-based learning, as well as approaches that focus on the diversity and uniqueness of each student. Through implementing this inclusive strategy, it is hoped that every student can receive quality education and meet their individual learning needs. Thus, implementing inclusive learning strategies in madrasas or schools is not only important to improve the quality of education, but also to realize the vision of education that is inclusive, fair and equal for all students. Therefore, the role of teachers, teaching staff, parents and all related parties is very important in supporting and implementing inclusive learning strategies effectively and sustainably. This research uses a literature review method by searching for related sources.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using ChatGPT on the ability of Grade XII students at MAN 1 Kota Padang in completing academic tasks. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through open-ended questionnaires distributed to students. The collected data were analyzed to explore how ChatGPT influences students’ understanding of the material, task completion speed, and the quality of their academic work. The results reveal that all respondents were familiar with and had used ChatGPT as a learning aid. Most students reported using ChatGPT frequently or very frequently, particularly to help them understand lessons and complete assignments more efficiently. The use of ChatGPT has been shown to positively affect time efficiency, comprehension, and the quality of students’ work. However, students also demonstrated critical awareness by verifying the information obtained, indicating that their dependence on the technology remained moderate. Overall, the use of ChatGPT has a positive and significant impact on students’ ability to complete academic tasks. The integration of ChatGPT into the learning process effectively supports students’ digital literacy and learning outcomes, though teacher supervision remains essential to ensure its use does not diminish critical thinking skills or originality in student work.
