Abstract

Abstrak Stunting merupakan kondisi malnutrisi umumnya disebabkan oleh konsumsi asupan dengan gizi kurang, menderita penyakit tertentu, dan pola asuh anak yang kurang baik. Hal ini menyebabkan hambatan pertumbuhan dari janin hingga dua tahun pertama kehidupan anak, ditandai dengan pertumbuhan yang tidak sesuai dengan usia mereka. Maka dari itu kegiatan penyuluhan sosialisasi yang dilakukan di Posyandu Wonodadi 2 bertujuan sebagai awal langkah pencegahan stunting pada anak di masa pertumbuhan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, dan diskusi terbuka berupa penyampaian materi mengenai pengenalan makanan sehat bergizi dan seimbang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Senin,7 Maret 2022 dengan melibatkan 25 orang peserta dengan 6 indikator capaian (kepuasan dalam pelayanan, tanya jawab diskusi, pemenuhan aspek Teknologi Tepat Guna, Pelaksanaan monitoring berkala, peningkatan standar kesehatan) yang dituangkan dalam kuisioner evaluasi hasil kegiatan dengan poin (Tidak Puas, Kurang Puas, Puas, Sangat Puas). Melalui peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya konsumsi makanan seimbang, diharapkan dapat mengurangi kasus stunting dalam komunitas tersebut. Manfaat dari kegiatan ini meliputi peningkatan kesehatan secara keseluruhan bagi individu usia emas dan generasi mendatang, peningkatan kualitas hidup, dan produktivitas masyarakat. Implikasi dari penelitian ini melampaui tingkat individu, memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pemerintah setempat. Kata kunci: gizi anak; makanan sehat seimbang;  stunting. Abstract Stunting is a condition of malnutrition commonly caused by inadequate nutrient intake, certain illnesses, and poor child-rearing practices. It leads to growth impediments from the fetus to the first two years of a child's life, characterized by growth not matching their age. Therefore, the educational outreach activities conducted at Posyandu Wonodadi 2 aim as an initial step in preventing stunting during childhood growth. This activity is carried out through lectures and open discusions, focusing on imparting knowledge about recognizing nutritious and balanced diets. Held on MOnday, March 7, 2022, involving 25 participants, the activity had 6 achievement indicators (satisfaction in service, Q&A discussions, fulfillment of Appropriate Technology aspects, periodic monitoring implementation, improvement of health standards) assessed through an evaluation questionnaire with ratings (Not Satisfied, Less Satisfied, Satisfied, Very Satisfied). Through increased understanding and awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition, it is hoped that stunting cases in the community can be reduced. The benefits of this activity include overall health improvement for the elderly and future generations, enhancing quality of life, and community productivity. The implications of this research extend beyond individual levels, providing positive contributions to the welfare of the community and local government.Keywords: balanced nutritional food; child nutrition; stunting.

Abstract

In general, food packaging materials are divided into two major groups: bio and non-biodegradable. Currently being developed is biodegradable packaging, including edible films. The application of edible films as packaging with carriers of antioxidants and colorants. One alternative of natural antioxidant to applied in edible films is liang-tea. The liang-tea contains of alkaloids, flavonoids, phenols, and tannins, that contribute antioxidant activity. This research aims to determine the concentration of infusion liang-tea that produces the best characteristics of sodium caseinate edible film that rich antioxidant. The research used a randomized block design with a single treatment of the concentration of infused liang-tea of 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 150% (v/w, of sodium caseinate), with 4 replications. The result indicates that the concentration of 150% (v/w) of sodium caseinate of infused liang-tea produced the best rich antioxidant edible films. The edible film had a thickness 0.20 mm, solubility 13.66%, L* colour value 88.39, a* colour value of -0.23, b* colour value of 5.01, water holding capacity 3.47 (g/g), moisture content 14.11%, and antioxidant activity 41.42%.
