Abstract

Abstrak Pada fakta di lapangan menunjukkan, sangat minim sekali kegiatan edukasi teknologi di laksanakan di sekolahan, terutama pada sekolah yang tidak ada penjurusan teknologi elektro. Minimnya kegiatan ini disebabkan kurangnya minat dari pihak sekolah terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan penyuluhan serta kurang tersedianya SDM yang mumpuni untuk menjadi narasumber.Untuk itu, perguruan tinggi sebagai stakeholder Pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat harus dapat menjembatani dan mengembangkan proses edukasi kepada pihak sekolah. Didasari gagasan tersebut Tim pengabdian program studi teknik elektro melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan pelatihan implementasi teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) pada kendali lampu cerdas untuk meningkatkan aspek kompetensi siswa di SMK Miftahul Ulum  Desa Melirang. Dalam pelatihan tersebut peserta  mendapatkan pengenalan dasar mikrokontroler dan IoT. Perangkat yang digunakan dibuat dengan  software Arduino IDE yang akan bekerja sesuai dengan perintah yang diberikan. Pelatihan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pertemuan secara offline dan dikemas  menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami agar menciptakan kegiatan yang memenuhi unsur pengetahuan, keteramilan, dan kompetensi siswa-siswi SMK Miftahul Ulum yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini, pelatihan implementasi pemanfaatan IoT pada lampu cerdas mendapatkan tanggapan dari peserta sangat baik dan cukup untuk meningkatkan soft skill yang sebelumnya belum pernah peserta dapatkan. Kata kunci: arduino IDE; IoT; software. Abstract Facts on the ground show that very few technology education activities are carried out in schools, especially in schools that do not have an electrical technology department. This lack of activity is due to a lack of interest from schools in extension activities and a lack of qualified human resources to become resource persons. For this reason, universities as stakeholders in education, research and community service must be able to bridge and develop the educational process for schools. Based on this idea, the electrical engineering study program service team carried out community service activities with training in implementing Internet of Things (IoT) technology in smart light control to improve aspects of student competency at Miftahul Ulum Vocational School, Melirang Village. In this training, participants received a basic introduction to microcontrollers and IoT. The device used is made with Arduino IDE software which will work according to the commands given. This training is packaged in the form of offline meetings and packaged as fun and easy to understand in order to create activities that meet the elements of knowledge, skill and competence of the 30 Miftahul Ulum Vocational School students. The results of this PKM activity, training on implementing the use of IoT in smart lights, received very good responses from participants and were sufficient to improve soft skills that participants had never had before. Keywords: arduino IDE; IoT; software.

Abstract

Technological advances in the industrial era 4.0 mean that various things must prioritize convenience and efficiency in carrying out daily work such as carrying out automatic maintenance and control in the home. This has made many people able to produce various forms of technology that can be controlled automatically and help with work. people who can't take up much time. OT is a technology built to provide ease of work that can be connected to each other using the internet. One use of IoT technology is in the household sector to feed ornamental fish according to need and monitor remaining feed. This tool is designed for NodeMCU as control and an internet connection that is integrated with the Blink application. This tool consists of an HC-SR04 sensor input and a DS3231 RTC timer. The output of this tool uses a servo motor to open and close the contents of the fish feed. Arduino IDE software is used in NodeMCU coding and the Blynk application is used to connect the smartphone and NodeMCU. Based on the results of testing carried out, the system success rate has an average of 95% success. Meanwhile, the average delay is 0.052367 milliseconds.
