Abstract

Having a successful career is the dream of every individual, including teenagers who are studying vocational high school, often feel confused to determine their future when they graduate from school, due to a lack of confidence in making career decisions. This is a challenge for individuals to achieve. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find an overview of career self-efficacy based on the dimensions proposed by Taylor & Betz (1981). This study used descriptive quantitative method, with the subject/population of all students of class XII of SMK N 1 Majalaya using stratified random sampling technique which resulted in 225 samples. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and frequency distribution using Microsoft Excel 2021 tools. The results showed that the overall career self-efficacy of students who were in the high career self-efficacy level was 48 students (21%), the moderate career self-efficacy level was 140 students (62%), and students who were in the low career self-efficacy level were 37 students (17%).
