Abstract

This research aims to develop a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application specifically for the apartment industry using the Extreme Programming (XP) approach. This approach involves identifying customer needs, creating user stories, and prioritization to ensure application responsiveness. The resulting system has a microservices design, a friendly user interface, and a high level of security. The implementation of quality code involved pair programming and automated testing. The testing process involves User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the participation of apartment residents to obtain feedback that is applied to improvements. A small and frequent release approach ensures optimal quality and functionality. User involvement through UAT and retrospective sessions ensures the solution matches expectations, providing a positive user experience. By applying XP principles, this research successfully created a responsive, adaptive, and user-orientated CRM application to meet the complex needs of the apartment industry.

Abstract

Optimal education quality can be achieved when teachers provide quality and effective teaching. To measure and improve teacher performance, teacher performance appraisal is crucial. Considering the complexity of teachers' tasks, the importance of objective and data-driven teacher appraisals, and the existing problems in teacher appraisal systems, this research aims to investigate and develop a better teacher performance appraisal system to improve education quality in educational institutions. This research adopts the Extreme Programming (XP) approach as the application development method. XP is one agile method that focuses on collaboration, flexibility, and iterative development. The results showed that the application development has reached the user acceptance testing stage. About 85 percent of test participants in user acceptance testing, including teachers, principals, and administrative staff, felt that the app met their needs and could be used well. This research contributes to improving the quality of education in educational institutions by introducing a technology-based teacher performance appraisal application to improve the efficiency and objectivity of the appraisal. In addition, this research develops an understanding of the use of Extreme Programming in developing educational applications.

Abstract

In the face of complex financial challenges, such as increasing operational costs, decreasing patient numbers, and fluctuating revenues, health clinics must implement intelligent and efficient financial strategies. This research focuses on developing a financial information system to improve efficiency, transparency, and control in the financial management of the clinic. Steps towards the launch, including feature integration, retrospective evaluation, and phased rollout, were implemented to minimize the impact on clinic operations. Evaluating the impact of the system after launch is an important step to ensure the expected benefits are achieved, and continuous improvement through retrospective sessions is critical to continuously improving the development process. The results of this study provide a comprehensive view of the development strategy of a clinic financial management application using the XP approach, which can serve as a foundation for clinics to deal with the complexities and dynamics of managing their financial aspects. This research contributes to understanding best practices in dealing with financial challenges in the healthcare sector.

Abstract

This research discusses analyzing and developing a village office inventory system using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. Village inventory systems are considered an essential foundation in local resource management, facilitating the recording, maintenance, and management of inventory owned by a village. This research identified limitations in the manual approach, which is prone to recording errors and data loss. The proposed village inventory system is designed to solve these limitations by emphasizing timeliness and accuracy of information. The system is expected to assist the village in responding quickly to changing conditions and needs, ensuring that the information obtained is always relevant and accurate. The application development was conducted through a series of XP stages, from overall planning system and module design to testing and implementation in a production environment. This process creates adaptive, responsive, and quality software, overcoming the limitations of manual systems that may still be dominant in many villages. User acceptance analysis highlights the importance of understanding user needs and expectations. User needs studies, user personas, prototyping, and feedback collection form the basis of system design that focuses on meeting user expectations. The results of the user performance metrics analysis showed a positive 80% satisfaction rate with the prototype, indicating that the proposed solution met the expectations of most users.
