Abstract: This study aims to find out whether the implementation of home visit learning during the pandemic was effective. Implementation of home visit learning during the pandemic at SD Negeri 104193 Tandam Hilir II, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research method is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 104193 Tandam Hilir II, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. This research was conducted on fourth grade students at SD Negeri 104193 Tandam Hilir II consisting of 30 students as the sample and 4 teachers. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. Checking the validity of the findings was obtained from triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. As for the implementation of the home visit, there are three stages, namely: a) the preparation stage, b) the implementation stage, divided into 2, namely: the initial activity implementation stage and follow-up activities, c) the learning monitoring and evaluation stage) implementation of the home visit there are three stages, namely: a ) the preparation stage b) the implementation stage is divided into two, namely: the initial activity implementation stage and the advanced activity implementation stage. c) monitoring and evaluation stage of learning.Keywords: Home visit learning, the role of the teacher, the covid-19 pandemicAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pelaksanaan pembelajaran home visit pada masa pandemi efektif digunakan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran home visit pada masa pandemi di SD Negeri 104193 Tandam Hilir II Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 104193 Tandam Hilir II Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan terhadap peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 104193 Tandam Hilir IIyang terdiri atas 30 peserta didik sebagai sampelnya dan 4 orang guru. Teknik analisis data berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan di peroleh dari triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Adapun pada pengimplementasian home visit terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu: a) tahap persiapan, b) tahap pelaksanaan, dibagi menjadi 2 yaitu: tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan awal dankegiatan lanjutan, c) tahap monitoring dan evaluasi pembelajaran) pelaksanaan home visit terdapat tiga tahap yaitu: a) tahap persiapan b) tahap pelaksanaan terbagi menjai dua yaitu: tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan awal dan tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan lanjutan. c) tahap monitoring dan evaluasi pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran home visit, peran guru, pandemic covid-19
