Abstract

This following article will describe the concept of using Clausewitz’s philosophy approach in study the history of the battles of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The need for Clausewitz’s philosophy as an approach in study the battles history of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is an attempt to understand the battles of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a whole and more themed war. Expected by the use of Clausewitz’s philosophy approach, the mistakes in analyzing the history of the battle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can be avoided. Keywords: Clausewitz’s philosophy, battle history, Muhammad.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sejauh ini Islam lebih banyak direpresentasikan dikawasan-kawasan yang mayoritas dihuni oleh Muslim. Sehingga, kawasan-kawasan yang Muslim-nya minoritas sering terabaikan. Padahal, keberadaan Muslim disuatu kawasan, meski secara minoritas, adalah representasi penyebaran agama Islam dan persebaran Muslim di seluruh dunia. Oleh sebab itu, kajian dan pembahasan mengenai Muslim minoritas pada suatu kawasan menjadi urgen.  Berangkat dari urgensi tersebut, artikel berikut akan memaparkan kondisi Muslim minoritas di kawasan Amerika Utara dan Amerika Latin. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah memberi informasi yang menggambarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Muslim minoritas di dua kawasan tersebut. Dari informasi ini diharapkan dapat tumbuh semangat kepedulian yang lebih baik kepada Muslim minoritas dimanapun mereka berada. Kata kunci: Muslim, Amerika Utara, Amerika Latin, sejarah Abstract: So far, Islam is more widely represented in Muslim-majority areas. Thus, Muslim minority areas are often overlooked. In fact, the existence of Muslims in a region, although the minority is a representation of the spread of Islam and the spread of Muslims around the world.  Therefore, the study and discussion of Muslim minorities in a region becomes urgent.  Based on  the urgency, the following article will describe the condition of Muslim minorities in the region of North America and Latin America. This article aims  to provide information that illustrates the problems faced by Muslim minorities in the two regions. This information is expected to foster a better caring spirit for Muslims.Keywords: Muslim, North America, Latin America, history
