Abstract

Performance Management Through the Medeka Mengajar Platform is a tool that makes it easier for teachers and school principals to set more contextual performance targets in accordance with the needs of indicator units and career development to improve the quality of student-centered learning. This Performance Management feature is also integrated with e-performance services managed by the State Civil Service Agency. The method used in this research is the Library Research method or library research. Performance management transformation is a form of collaborative relationship carried out by the Ministry of Education and Culture with teachers and school principals, the State Civil Service Agency (BKN), a government agency in charge of personnel management, and the Regional Government according to its authority through the Regional Personnel Agency and the Education Service. This performance management transformation comes as a form of aligning and accelerating processes through integrated technology in regional performance management. There are relevant performance improvement priority indicators to assist teachers and school principals in achieving them. Assistance from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Education Department is still needed in managing performance through PMM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine efforts to overcome obstacles in improving teachers' performance at SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.  The results showed that the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the performance of SMP Negeri 1 Samarinda teachers have succeeded in improving facilities and providing support to teachers for self-development, creating a conducive learning environment at school, and adequate facilities to provide optimal learning experiences for students. While the inhibiting factor is the Principal's importance of paying attention to facilities and support for self-development, teachers face obstacles in understanding the personality of teachers in depth. 2) Efforts to overcome obstacles in improving teacher performance are deliberations, technical guidance, MGMP, listening to suggestions from the school community, taking positive steps, and adequate facilities and infrastructure availability.

Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial oleh murid sekolah dasar semakin umum dan berpotensi memengaruhi perkembangan keterampilan sosial mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan sosial murid kelas V A SD Negeri 019 Samarinda Ulu dalam konteks penggunaan media sosial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa murid tetap mampu menunjukkan keterampilan sosial seperti kerja sama, empati, dan komunikasi verbal, khususnya ketika didukung oleh pembelajaran yang mendorong interaksi langsung. Namun, beberapa tantangan muncul, seperti kurangnya keberanian dalam komunikasi nonverbal dan lemahnya pengendalian emosi, terutama pada murid yang terbiasa berkomunikasi secara digital. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru dan orang tua dalam mengarahkan penggunaan media sosial serta menciptakan lingkungan yang seimbang antara aktivitas daring dan interaksi langsung, sehingga keterampilan sosial murid dapat berkembang secara optimal.
