Abstract

This research aims to determine the picture of teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 1 Cirebon City. Teacher professionalism requires individual development and organizational development. One of the individual developments is carrying out professional teacher education and training. This improvement requires teacher expertise in educating and teaching students with various approaches and learning models. The research used quantitative descriptive analysis methods on 16 teachers as respondents at SMA Negeri 1 Cirebon City and interviews to ensure the validity of the instrument answers distributed through the survey. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and survey instruments. The results of the research show that the development of teacher professionalism has four aspects, namely: the development of teacher professionalism for 16 teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Cirebon City has four aspects, namely: (1) expertise, including (a) mastery of the material ( 37.5% ) ( b) class mastery (31.255%), and (c) pedagogical mastery (31.25%), (2) sources of income, including: (a) meeting basic family needs (62%), (b) being able to share with others (25%), and (c) not lacking financially (12.5%), (3) improving quality, including: (a) increasing student achievement (50%), (b) increasing school achievement (31.25% ), and (c) increasing personal achievement (18.75%), and (4) code of ethics, including (a) maintaining integrity (100%), (b) honesty (100%), (c) discipline (100 %), and (d) responsible (100%). Teacher professionalism development must be carried out periodically and continuously.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how curriculum management is implemented in the Early Childhood Education of TK Smart Auladi. A qualitative approach is employed in this study, specifically through a case study method. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation, focusing on curriculum-related documents such as weekly and daily lesson plans. The research aims to provide a clear description and overview of the management functions associated with the implementation of the early childhood education curriculum at TK Smart Auladi. The research methodology falls under the category of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques involve observation, direct interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using an interactive model of analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the curriculum management functions at TK Smart Auladi encompass planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Abstract

Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah kegiatan pendidikan di luar jam sekolah yang ditujukan untuk membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki sesuai dengan kebutuhan, ketertarikan, bakat, dan minatnya. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ini mempunyai peran yang strategis untuk kelanjutan pendidikan siswa. Namun kenyataannya banyak sekolah/madrasah yang belum sepenuhnya menyadari akan hal tersebut dan jika dilakukan pelaksanaannya tidak di mana dengan benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen kesiswaan bidang ekstrakurikuler di SMK Budi Tresna Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengkoleksi data, mensortir data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Proses perencanaan diawali dengan rapat di awal tahun pelajaran yang melibatkan stakehoulders lembaga, untuk menetapkan jenis ekstrakurikuler, sarana prasarana dan anggaran. (2) Proses pengorganisasian dengan membagi tugas dan tanggung jawab pada mereka yang kompeten dibidangnya dengan dibantu kepengurusan ditiap ekstrakurikuler. (3) Proses aktuating adanya peran dari kepala sekolah/wakil kepala kesiswaan dalam memberikan pengarahan, motivasi dan pembinaan untuk menggerakkan terlaksananya program esktrakurikuler meliputi latihan rutin, berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial, mengikuti lomba di luar lembaga maupun di dalam lembaga. (4) Proses pengawasan dan evaluasi mengacu pada daftar hadir pembina, daftar hadir peserta didik, koordinasi antara pembina dan pengurus, laporan kegiatan, prestasi yang diraih, hasil karya peserta didik dan penilaian peserta didik. (5) Faktor pendukung, adanya komunikasi yang baik antara pembina dan peserta didik, adanya dukungan dari orang tua siswa (6) Faktor penghambat, kegiatan PKL siswa, kurang aktifnya pengurus ekstrakurikuler, rendahnya minat peserta didik.
