ABSTRAKSepanjang siklus kehidupan anak memiliki tahap-tahap pertumbuhan salah satunya perkembangan moral anak. Pada massa anak-anak terutama anak usia prasekolah seharusnya anak sudah memiliki moral yang cukup baik, sehingga diperlukan kemampuan orang tua yang baik tentang perkembangan moral anak prasekolah. Untuk itu setiap orang tua yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah di wajibkan mengerti tentang perkembangan moral anak prasekolah sejak dini, pendidikan dan pengetahuan orang tua yang baik tentang perkembangan moral anak prasekolah sangatlah penting untuk mengarahkan anak dengan moral yang benar .Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Populasinya sebanyak 39 orang tua siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik accidental sampling, dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 15 responden.Dari hasil penelitian dari 15 responden memiliki pengetahuan perkembangan moral anak prasekolah dengan kriteria cukup yaitu ada 8 responden (53%), kriteria baik 5 responden (34%), sebagian kecil kriteria kurang ada 2 responden (13%).Dari hasil penelitian diatas dapat disimpulkan pengetahuan tentang perkembangan moral anak usia prasekolah sebagian besar cukup dikarenakan kurangnya orang tua dalam memperluas pengetahuan tentang perkembangan moral anak, maka diperlukan peran perawat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua murid dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan bekerjasama dengan pihak sekolah.Kata Kunci : pengetahuan orang tua, perkembangan , prasekolah.ABSTRACTDuring life cycle, children have growth stages, one of those is moral development of children. On childhood period, especially pre-school age, children should have good moral, therefore it needs a good ability from parents about moral development of pre-school children. Therefore, every parents who have pre-school children are obligated to understand about moral development of pre-school children earlier, education and good knowledge from parents about moral development of pre-school children is very important to direct children with right moral. Research design was descriptive. Population consisted of 39 parents of children. Sample was taken by using accidental sampling technique with sample size were 15 respondents. Research result from 15 respondents showed that 8 respondents (53%) had fair criteria of moral development of pre-school children, 5 respondents (34%) had good criteria, and 2 respondents (13%) had low criteria. From research result above, it can be concluded that most of knowledge from parents about moral development of pre-school children include in fair criteria. Therefore it needs to increase knowledge from parents by giving guidance with cooperation with school institution.Key words : knowledge,development, pre-school children.
