Abstract

This research aims to explore the effect of implementing classical services with discussion and project-based learning methods in improving students' self-discipline in the educational environment. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through observations, interviews and academic evaluations of grade 12 Bina Bangsa Lasalepa Vocational School students, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The research results showed a significant increase in students' attendance levels, compliance with rules, and self-discipline after implementing the new learning strategy. Students' active involvement in group discussions and project-based learning also increased, indicating a positive influence on students' participation in learning. In addition, improvements were seen in students' social and collaborative skills as well as an increase in their learning motivation. Academic evaluations show an increase in overall student achievement. Positive responses from parents and school staff confirm the success of this change in learning approach in creating a more inclusive and supportive learning climate. This research contributes to illustrating the effectiveness of new learning strategies in overcoming students' self-discipline problems and stimulating their holistic development in an educational context.
