Abstract

This research employs symmetrical correlational methodology with the goal of investigating the potential link between the allocation of pocket money and the level of interest in mathematics learning among sixth-grade students attending Muhammadiyah Pulokadang Elementary School. A total of 30 students participated as samples in this study. Information was gathered through the administration of questionnaires and the exakeinginanion of relevant documentation. Analysis of the data entailed employing descriptive statistical techniques alongside inferential statistical methods. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that the average score for the pocket money provision questionnaire is 59.3, indicating a good category, while the average score for the mathematics learning interest questionnaire is 66.40, which also indicates a very good category. The Pearson product-moment correlation test was conducted with a significance level set at 5%, resulting in a significance value of 0.029, which is less than 0.05. Hence, the null hypothesis was rejected. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that there exists a noteworthy and positive correlation between the provision of pocket money and the level of interest in mathematics learning among students. Additionally, this implies that offering pocket money may positively influence the degree of interest in mathematics learning among sixth-grade students attending Muhammadiyah Pulokadang Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the approach to school financial management that can enhance the quality of education. The method used is qualitative, with the research conducted at Muhammadiyah Mlati Senior High School. Data collection was carried out through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilized an interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure the validity of the data, the researcher conducted triangulation and referred to other references. The results of the study indicate that the financial management of the school in improving the quality of education at Muhammadiyah Mlati Senior High School involves seven stages: (1) holding meetings at the beginning of the academic year; (2) formulating programs; (3) preparing budgets; (4) conducting revision discussions; (5) evaluating outcomes; (6) providing feedback; and (7) preparing the School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBS).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum for 10th-grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati. The research involved 18 teachers and 72 10th-grade students as the population, with all students selected as the sample using a total sampling technique. A quantitative approach with descriptive data analysis was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, observation questionnaires, and document analysis related to the curriculum's implementation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati has been successful, as reflected by the majority of respondents rating it as “Excellent” in the distributed questionnaires. This suggests that the curriculum has been applied effectively. These results are consistent with previous studies that highlight the benefits of personalized learning approaches in helping students catch up more efficiently. With continued support from various stakeholders, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is expected to become more optimal and contribute positively to the advancement of education at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati

Abstract

This research aims to assess the effect of the Cool, Critical, Creative, and Meaningful (3CM) learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills on the topic of matrices. A quantitative approach was used, employing a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format. The study involved 30 11th-grade science students from SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati. The instruments for this research included a critical thinking skills test based on the indicators of Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity, and Overview, as well as a student perception questionnaire regarding the 3CM learning model. The validity and reliability tests showed that all instruments were valid and reliable. Tests for normality and linearity confirmed that the data were normally distributed and exhibited a significant linear relationship. Regression analysis demonstrated a positive and significant correlation between the 3CM model and students’ critical thinking skills (sig. = 0.003 < 0.05), with the model explaining 27.7% of the variance. The average pretest score of 61.56 increased to 85.80 in the posttest, with the greatest improvement observed in the Situation indicator. These findings indicate that the 3CM model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and contributes to the development of innovative teaching strategies in mathematics education.

Abstract

Chemistry laboratory management at SMA Dr. Wahidin is important in supporting learning. This research aims to describe chemistry laboratory management using a qualitative descriptive approach. Research subjects included school principals, deputy heads of curriculum, laboratory assistants, technicians, and chemistry teachers. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that laboratory work program planning is prepared systematically by the head of the laboratory, including vision, mission, and long and short-term plans. The organizational structure involves various parties, including school principals, laboratory assistants, technicians, and chemistry teachers. The school principal plays a role in organizing and supporting laboratory management to be more optimal. The implementation of the work program went according to plan. However, coordination between parties still requires improvement. Apart from that, supervision and evaluation carried out by school principals need to be further improved so that the effectiveness of laboratory management is more optimal.   Abstrak Manajemen laboratorium kimia di SMA Dr. Wahidin berperan penting dalam mendukung pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen laboratorium kimia dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, laboran, teknisi, dan guru kimia. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program kerja laboratorium disusun secara sistematis oleh kepala laboratorium, mencakup visi, misi, serta rencana jangka panjang dan pendek. Struktur organisasi melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk kepala sekolah, laboran, teknisi, dan guru kimia. Kepala sekolah berperan dalam pengorganisasian guna mendukung pengelolaan laboratorium agar lebih optimal. Pelaksanaan program kerja telah berjalan sesuai rencana, namun koordinasi antar pihak masih memerlukan peningkatan. Selain itu, pengawasan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah perlu lebih ditingkatkan agar efektivitas pengelolaan laboratorium semakin optimal. Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of meaningful learning implementation assisted by thematic worksheets on students' mathematical concept understanding and metacognitive skills using a quantitative descriptive approach. The research employs a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design, specifically the One Shot Case Study design, and uses simple random sampling for sampling techniques. The study was conducted in class XI of Dirgantara Putra Bangsa Vocational High School in October 2024, with 30 students participating. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires on the implementation of meaningful thematic learning assisted by worksheets, metacognitive skills questionnaires, and tests on mathematical concept understanding. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Student responses to meaningful learning assisted by thematic worksheets reached 74.62%, categorized as good; (2) The implementation of meaningful learning assisted by thematic worksheets influenced students' mathematical concept understanding by 88.1%; (3) The implementation also impacted students' metacognitive skills with a contribution of 18.9%. These findings suggest that integrating thematic worksheets into meaningful learning enhances both cognitive and metacognitive outcomes. Future research should consider using more relevant or contemporary themes and exploring broader applications across subjects.

Abstract

Model pengembangan 4D telah banyak diteliti oleh peneliti manum pengelompokan hasil penelitian mengenai model pengembangan 4D masih kurang diteliti .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan penelitian terkait model pengembangan 4D berdasarkan pengembangan produk, perangkat pembelajaran, model pembelajaran, keterampilan yang dikembangkan, jenjang Pendidikan, kelas, mata pelajaran, dan kurikulum. Artikel ini berkontribusi dalam menentukan kebaharuan penelitian terkait dengan topik model 4D. penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, dengan menganalisis 100 artikel ilmiah menggunakan Publish Or Perish (POP) dengan data base berasal dari Google Scholar menggunakan keyword Pengembangan 4D dengan maksimum pencarian 1000 artikel dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Model 4D paling banyak mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran media elektronik dengan mengembangkan keterampilan hasil belajar, menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada jenjang SMA kelas XI mata pelajaran Matematika kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model 4D pada perangkat pembelajaran, game edukasi, dan SSP dengan keterampilan komunikasi dan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) menggunakan pendekatan PMR dan Study Lesson pada Jenjang SMP kelas IX merupakan topik yang mengandung kebaharuan untuk diteliti
