Abstract

The development of digital communication technology has brought significant changes to contemporary da'wah practices, particularly through the use of social media, which has become the main space for interaction for Generation Z. This condition opens up wider opportunities for young female preachers to convey Islamic messages through various digital platforms. However, the rise of viral culture on social media also presents challenges in maintaining the authenticity of religious messages while adapting them to the ever-evolving dynamics of digital culture. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the communication strategies used by Generation Z female preachers in responding to viral culture on social media without compromising the authenticity of Islamic preaching messages. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis methods on seven preaching contents published by Dinda Ibrahim through the Instagram platform. Data were collected through documentation techniques on digital content and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which includes the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show three main strategies for digital da'wah, namely the internalization of moral values through contextual narratives and dialogic communication, the development of digital authenticity and credibility through consistency of values and emotional closeness with the audience, and the use of visual aesthetics as a language of da'wah through the use of humor, cosplay, and curated visual packaging. These findings indicate that the integration of moral narratives, authentic communication, and visual aesthetics keeps digital da'wah relevant and effective for Generation Z audiences.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Anak usia dini adalah komunitas yang perlu mendapat perhatian untuk diberi penguatan digital agar pemahaman digital bisa diperkuat sejak dini. Dalam konteks inilah pentingnya kegiatan literasi digital pada anakTK beserta orang tuanya. Pengabdian dengan tema ”Literasi Digital pada Murid dan Wali Murid TK ABA 5 Kota Mataram” ini terdiri dari dua jenis kegiatan yaitu penyampaian materi dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi, dan pendampingan langsung di rumah. Materi literasi digital terdiri dari dua aspek yaitu materi tentang teknik pemanfaatan smartphone untuk memaksimalkan fitur yang bermanfaat dan sehat di dalamnya; dan materi tentang keterampilan sosial dalam bermedia sosial yang sehat serta strategi pendampingan anak dalam pemanfaatan media digital. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya respon positif dari orang tua murid dan dari pimpinan TK ABA 5 Mataram karena pengabdian ini berkontribusi positif bagi kecakapan mereka dan anaknya dalam menggunakan media digital yang sehat dan bermanfaat. Proses pendampingan yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini juga mendapat apresiasi dari orang tua karena pelaksana pengabdian dinilai peduli dengan keberhasilan literasi yang diberikan di kelas. Oleh karena itu, pola literasi yang mengkombinasikan antara proses transfer of knowledge di kelas dengan praktik dan pendampingan di rumah dinilai efektif sehingga layak didesiminasikan dalam dalam konteks literasi yang lainnya. Kata kunci: Literasi Digital; Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Mataram; Media Social; Anak Usia Dini. ABSTRACTEarly childhood is a community that deserves special attention and is equipped with digital literacy from an early age. In this context, digital literacy activities for early childhood and their parents are crucial. The community service program, themed "Digital Literacy for Students and Parents of Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) 5 in Mataram City," consists of two types of activities: delivering material through lectures and discussions, and direct mentoring at home. The digital literacy material consists of two aspects: material on smartphone utilization techniques to maximize its beneficial and healthy features; and material on social skills in social media and strategies for mentoring children in using digital media. The results of the community service showed a positive response from parents and the principal of ABA 5 Mataram, as this service contributed positively to their and their children's skills in using digital media. The mentoring process carried out in this service also received appreciation from parents because the implementers of the service were considered concerned with the success of the literacy provided in class. Therefore, the literacy pattern that combines the process of knowledge transfer in the classroom with practice and mentoring at home is considered effective and therefore worthy of dissemination to other target groups or in other literacy contexts.Keywords: Digital Literacy; Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Mataram; Social Media; Early Childhood.
