Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the strategies of countries in the Southeast Asia region in economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach with secondary data as a source of analysis. The research results show that the post-COVID-19 pandemic economic recovery strategy implemented by countries in the Southeast Asia region, especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines, is in the form of fiscal and monetary policies, private sector support, public health management and intensifying tourism. Meanwhile, the current economic conditions in the country have shown gradual recovery.

Abstract

Yogyakarta Batik is a creative industry produced by local craftsmen. This industry faces various challenges such as limited supply of raw materials, capital, and traditional promotion. However, this industry has a wide market opportunity because of its cultural heritage and traditional arts. This industry can grow through design innovation, collaboration, and tax incentives. The challenges include competition, consumer preferences, and raw material prices. To develop this industry, it is necessary to strengthen partnerships, digital marketing, skills training, sustainable innovation, and exports. Giriloyo Hamlet, located in Imogiri District, is the largest center for hand-drawn batik in the region and a place for the Giriloyo hand-drawn batik association.
