Abstract

Dalam menghadapi persaingan industri, PT ABC sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan air limbah industri menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan stabilitas proyek dan meningkatkan daya saing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal yang memengaruhi strategi pemasaran perusahaan serta merumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan daya saing menggunakan metode SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) dan QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada tiga responden di perusahaan. Pada hasil penelitian analisis SWOT dan QSPM menunjukan hasil strategi yang terpilih sama yaitu mengaplikasikan strategi SO (Strength-Opportunities) menghadapi kondisi di mana perusahaan disarankan untuk memanfaatkan kekuatan untuk meningkatkan peluang yang ada. Berikut strategi SO yaitu Meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi, dan kualitas layanan WWTP, Mengembangkan keterampilan melalui kerja sama konstruksi dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk promosi serta perluasan pemasaran, dan Memanfaatkan lokasi strategis guna mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan dan pengembangan infrastruktur yang efektif.

Abstract

The Junior Data Scientist Workshop, conducted on August 25, 2024, was designed to introduce participants to foundational concepts in Data Science and essential data analysis tools, with a focus on the Orange platform. Five students with a keen interest in data science attended the event. The workshop utilized a blend of theoretical instruction and practical application, guiding participants through key processes such as data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Post-workshop evaluations indicate that 85% of participants demonstrated a marked improvement in their understanding of Data Science concepts and methods. Despite the participants’ successful application of analysis techniques, several challenges were noted in comprehending complex statistical principles, suggesting a potential benefit from supplementary instructional sessions. This workshop has contributed significantly to advancing participants’ data literacy and analytical competencies, equipping them with critical skills essential for data-driven decision-making

Abstract

This study aims to determine an appropriate inventory control policy for copper slag material by applying the safety stock (SS) and reorder point (ROP) methods at PT. XYZ. While previous studies have extensively discussed inventory control for main raw materials, this research specifically examines production support materials with highly fluctuating demand patterns in a continuous production system, which is a key novelty of this study. The research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach based on historical data of material usage and kiln operational activities from January to June 2025. The results demonstrate that material consumption is directly influenced by kiln operational intensity, rather than occurring randomly. The calculation yields a safety stock of 2,106.12 tons and a reorder point of 3,511.00 tons at a 95% service level. These values serve as an operational signal to prevent stockouts during lead times without causing excessive inventory levels. This study highlights that data-driven inventory management effectively enhances production system resilience against demand uncertainty in the cement industry.
