Abstract

This research aims to find out the problems and solutions that can be done to overcome the problem of copyright protection against the circulation of pirated compact disks (CDs) in Serang City based on Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright. The formulation of the problem and the purpose of this study is to see how copyright protection against pirated CDs in Serang City based on Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright and countermeasures carried out by law enforcement officials. In addition, the purpose of this study is to find out the protection of pirated CD copyright and efforts to counter the circulation of pirated CDs in Serang City. The research methods used in this research are empirical juridical research, sources and types of data that consist of primary data and secondary data with interviews and literature.
