ABSTRACT The curriculum has a very important role, namely as a guide for the learning process, so that its existence is a benchmark for the success of the education system in a country. Indonesia in history has gone through several curriculum changes and currently Indonesia is making changes again from the 2013 curriculum to an independent curriculum. The relatively close distance to the replacement of the curriculum raises a lot of debate in the community and raises problems regarding teacher readiness in implementing the curriculum. Teacher readiness can be seen based on indicators of teacher readiness, namely cognitive, physical, psychological and financial readiness. Teacher readiness affects the success of implementing the curriculum considering that the teacher not only acts as an educator but also as a curriculum developer. Therefore, researchers conducted research on teacher readiness in implementing the independent curriculum at the Surya Buana Islamic Elementary School in Malang City using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data collection used interview, observation and documentation techniques which resulted in that teachers at the Surya Buana Islamic Elementary School were ready to implement the independent curriculum based on four indicators of readiness namely cognitive, physical, psychological and financial readiness. ABSTRAK Kurikulum memiliki peran yang sangat penting yakni sebagai pedoman berjalannya proses pembelajaran,, sehingga keberadaannya menjadi tolak ukur dari keberhasilan system pendidikan di suatu Negara. Indonesia dalam sejarah telah melewati beberapa kali perubahan kurikulum dan saat ini Indonesia kembali melakukan perubahan dari kurikulum 2013 menjadi kurikulum merdeka. Jarak pergantian kurikulum yang cukup dekat menimbulkan banyak perdebatan dimasyarakat dan menimbulkan permasalahan terhadapan kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum. Kesiapan guru dapat dilihat berdasarkan indicator kesiapan guru yakni kesiapan kognitif, fisik, psikologis dan finansial Kesiapan guru mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengimplementasian kurikulum mengingat guru selain berperan sebagai pendidik namun juga sebagai pengembang kurikulum. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian terhadap kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka di SDI Surya Buana Kota Malang menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang menghasilkan bahwa guru di SDI Surya Buana telas siap dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka berdasarkan empat indicator kesiapan yakni kesiapan kognitif, fisik, psikologis dan finansial.
