Abstract

Hormonal changes due to the use of hormonal contraceptives are known to be one of the causes of sexual dysfunction. Impaired sexual function can affect the ability to establish and maintain intimate relationships with a partner, and interfere with mental health such as anxiety and depression. This descriptive study using a cross-sectional design aims to describe the sexual function of acceptors of hormonal contraception Depo Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (DMPA). The population of this study was women who used DMPA hormonal contraception. Sample selection is done by total sampling. The data was collected using the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire, then the data were tabulated and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that most of the DMPA contraceptive acceptors experienced sexual dysfunction and most of the acceptors had used DMPA hormonal contraception for 2 years. DMPA's systemic hypo-estrogenic effect causes vaginal mucosal atrophy, vaginal dryness, and dyspareunia, causing sexual dysfunction. Midwives as health care providers need to have open discussions with hormonal contraceptive acceptors regarding their sexual function so that contraceptive acceptors continue to use effective contraception to prevent pregnancy and continue to provide emotional and sexual support in a woman's life. Keywords: Sexual Function, Acceptor, DMPA ABSTRAK Perubahan hormonal akibat penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal diketahui menjadi salah satu penyebab disfungsi sexual. Abstract

Preeclampsia if not treated properly, can lead to the death of the mother and baby. The cause of preeclampsia is unknown, women with a high BMI (Body Mass Index) or obesity before pregnancy are at greater risk for developing preeclampsia. This study is an observational analytic study with a case control approach with a retrospective approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between BMI and preeclampsia. The sample of this study was divided into case groups, namely third trimester pregnant women with preeclampsia and control group samples; namely third trimester pregnant women who did not experience preeclampsia. The number of samples in each group was 14 respondents. Data analysis using Chi Square statistical test. The results showed that most (19 respondents) pregnant women with TM III (67.9%) with abnormal BMI experienced preeclampsia as many as 13 respondents (46.4%). Meanwhile, of the 9 respondents of TM III pregnant women with normal BMI, most of them did not experience preeclampsia, namely 8 respondents (28.6%). Chi Square test results obtained p - value = 0.005 (< 0.05) which indicates there is a relationship between BMI and preeclampsia. More pregnancy monitoring in pregnant women with obesity and overweight categories is needed to avoid the occurrence of preeclampsia.

Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2) has been worrying the world since its first appearance. Although the absolute risk for maternal morbidity and mortality is low, pregnancy remains a risk factor for hospitalization, ICU admission, and COVID-19-related extracorporeal membrane oxygenation requirements compared to nonpregnancy. Protection of pregnant women from SARS-CoV-2 infection is very important to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality. Vaccination is the most promising method to control the spread of COVID-19. This descriptive study aims to determine the description of pregnant women who are vaccinated against covid-19, with the population who perform pregnancy checks at the Gayaman Health Center, Data collection was carried out in April 2022, using a questionnaire that was given directly to respondents and still complied with health protocols. Sampling by total sampling where 36 pregnant women were obtained who did prenatal check-ups and completed the questionnaire. The results of the study Most of the respondents had received the covid-19 vaccine, namely 31 respondents (86.11%). Health workers still have to provide information regarding the importance of covid-19 vaccination for pregnant women so that the coverage of COVID-19 vaccination for pregnant women can be increased.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a pandemic that is occurring in many countries around the world. Indonesia is one of the countries affected by this virus outbreak. COVID-19 can spread mainly from person to person through droplets from the nose or mouth that come out when a person infected with COVID-19 coughs, sneezes or talks. Efforts made to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak in pregnant women are: keep doing 5m, namely: wearing masks, washing hands with soap, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and reducing mobility. Some people are still neglecting to do 5M during the current pandemic, this happens because of the lack of public knowledge about the COVID-19 health protocol. Therefore, the COVID-19 Health Protocol Discipline Counseling is carried out so that the community has a high level of awareness and concern for the dangers. COVID-19 transmission. This community service activity was carried out by Selorejo Village with 5M counselling through a structured implementation approach. The result achieved from this outreach activity is that public knowledge increases about the discipline of COVID-19 health protocols

It had been done in PMB F at Desa Gayaman Mojoanyar sub-district Mojokerto regency on September. The results show that most primigravida whose body image have positively get 22 people (73.3%) and self adjustment do well consist of 19 people (63, 3%). The data analyzed by Fisher exact with significant level of 5% (0.05) are taken by value p(0.001) <α (0.05) means that body image has relationship with self adjustment in primigravida.
