Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a disease or chronic metabolic disorder characterized by high blood sugar levels accompanied by disorders of carbohydrate, lipid and protein metabolism as a result of insulin function insufficiency. Diabetics are advised to pay attention to the food they consume, preferably low in sugar. In general, cereals on the market are made from wheat flour which contains quite a lot of sugar, so it is necessary to modify cereal recipes to increase nutritional value. Cassava flour is a food source of carbohydrates with a lower calorie content than wheat flour. Red bean flour has a fairly high protein content and a low glycemic index, so the substitution of cassava flour and red bean flour is expected to increase the nutritional value. This study aims to determine the effect of substituting cassava flour and red bean flour on the nutritional value of cereals. This research used True Experimental with 4 treatment levels and 6 replications. The treatment applied was the ratio of wheat flour: cassava flour: red bean flour at each P0 (100:0:0), P1 (10:50:40), P2 (10:60:30), P3 (10: 70:20). Based on the research results, it shows that there is an effect of reducing glucose, energy, fat, carbohydrate and water levels compared to those without substitution. There was an increase in protein and ash content in the treatment. The cereal formulation that has the expected nutritional content is the P3 formulation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between taste and time of food serving with food waste in patients at RSUD. R. Koesma Tuban. Leftover food is often considered an indicator of patient dissatisfaction with the quality of the food provided. However, this study attempts to see further whether there is a significant relationship between these variables. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method and observation of a number of patients who received soft food. A questionnaire was used to measure the level of satisfaction with the taste and timeliness of food serving, while direct observation was carried out to record the leftover food. The sample of this study was 133 people and was conducted in June 2024 at RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban. The results of the Spearman correlation test showed a value of ρ = 0.374, which means there is no significant relationship between the taste of food and leftover food. The results of the Spearman correlation test showed a value of ρ = 0.634. This means that there is no significant relationship between the timeliness of food delivery and leftover food. Although most patients were satisfied with the taste and time of delivery, this did not consistently affect the amount of food left over. In conclusion, other factors besides taste and timeliness of provision may play a more important role in determining food waste at RSUD dr. R. Koesma Tuban, therefore further research is needed to identify these factors.

Abstract

Gangguan tidur pada ibu hamil trimester III dapat diartikan bahwa ibu hamil yang mengalami kesulitan tidur sehingga dapat menurunkan kualitas tidur. Kurangnya kualitas tidur pada ibu hamil berdampak terhadap proses persalinan dan melahirkan, menurunkan interaksi antara ibu dan bayi atau ibu dan keluarga, juga berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi. Solusi untuk memperbaiki kualitas tidur ibu dengan memberikan aromaterapi lavender. Penelitian ini untuk membuktikan pengaruh aromaterapi lavender terhadap ibu hamil trimester III. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasy eksperimen, pendekatan two group pretest-postest design. Populasi seluruh ibu hamil trimester III yang berada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Merakurak. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden 32. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah aromaterapi lavender, dan variabel dependen adalah kualitas tidur. Penelitian ini menggunakan aromaterapi lavender dengan menggunakan diffuser pada malam hari selama 7 hari. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) yang terdiri dari 7 komponen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Mc Nemar dan Fiser Exact Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa p = 0,029 dimana p value < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada kualitas tidur antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok intervensi. Sehingga hipotesis pada penelitian ini diterima, yaitu ada perbedaan kualitas tidur ibu hamil trimester III pada kelompok yang diberi aromaterapi lavender dengan kelompok yang tidak diberi aromaterapi lavender di Puskesmas Merakurak tahun 2024. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada ada pengaruh penggunaan aromaterapi lavender terhadap kualitas tidur ibu hamil trimester III di Puskesmas Merakurak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penggunaan aromaterapi lavender dapat dijadikan pilihan aman bagi ibu hamil dalam memperbaiki kualitas tidur.

Abstract

Background: Ideally, perineal wounds take 6-7 days to heal. The wound healing process requires protein that can be obtained from fish as a basic nutrient for cell formation. The availability of fish in Indonesia is very high, but the national fish consumption rate is low. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference in the speed of perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers with protein intake from snakehead fish and mackarel tuna fish. Method: This study used a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only control group design approach. The number of samples used was 48 respondents who were selected using simple random sampling and divided into three groups. Result: The results of the Kruskal Wallis analysis showed a P value of 0.036, so it can be concluded that there is at least an effect of providing intervention on perineal wound healing. The highest wound healing ranking was in the snakehead fish group with a value of 20.45, then the mackarel tuna fish group 16.45 and the control group 9.60. Conclusion : So mothers who have perineal stitches are advised to increase their protein consumption from either snakehead fish or mackarel tuna fish as an alternative to accelerate the perineal wound healing process.
