Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning, methods are much more important than materials. Such is the urgency of the method in the process of education and teaching. A teaching and learning process can be said to be unsuccessful if the process does not use the method. Similarly, in the activity of memorizing the Qur'an, the method serves to provide assistance and overcome difficulties in the process of memorizing and remembering memorization that has been memorized. Based on this, this study explains the effectiveness of the tikrar method on improving memorization in the Qur'an Memorization Lodge (PPQ) Ibn Hajar Sukabumi. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the tikrar method in the Ibn Hajar Sukabumi Qur'an Memorization Lodge and to determine the effectiveness of the tikrar method in improving the quality of Qur'an memorization of students in the Ibn Hajar Sukabumi Qur'an Memorization Hut. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach by taking the background of the Ibn Hajar Qur'an Memorization Lodge. The results of this study show that the implementation of the tikrar method is applied in four ways/techniques, namely joint tikrar, tikrar itself, tikrar in prayer and tikrar in front of the teacher. This is inseparable from tahfidz activities and tasmi activities'.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze al-Ghazali's moral education and its correlation in an effort to prevent reprehensible behavior among students or adolescents. This research method uses a qualitative type with a literature study approach. Data was collected through a literature review related to related fields of research, namely the concept of al-Ghazali's morals. The data that has been collected is then analyzed and concluded. The results of the study conclude that Al-Ghazali presents morality not as the ultimate goal of human beings to live, but as a tool to support the best functioning of the soul to attain the highest truth. Al-Ghazali argued that morality is not just an action, but the ability to do. However, morality must be associated with a mental situation that is ready to act, and it must be associated with this situation so that the resulting behavior becomes a daily habit. A person's bad character can basically be transformed into a noble character, for example from cruel to compassionate. Adolescent uncommendable behaviors such as fights, fights and bullying must first be eliminated and then students are equipped with commendable attitudes such as compassionate, patient, gentle, able to control anger, and respect for humanity

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore and analyze the concept of transformative epistemology in the development of contemporary Islamic education, with a focus on knowledge reconstruction from an integrative-nuraniyah perspective. This research adopts a qualitative approach with critical analysis of literature and concepts related to Islamic epistemology and contemporary Islamic education. Data were collected through library research, encompassing books, journal articles, and previous studies relevant to transformative epistemology, knowledge reconstruction in Islamic education, and the integration of spiritual aspects in teaching. The analysis process was carried out using a descriptive-analytical approach to identify gaps in the development of Islamic education and how transformative epistemology can provide solutions. The results show that transformative epistemology, which combines rational and spiritual dimensions, can serve as a strong foundation for reconstructing knowledge in contemporary Islamic education. This approach enables the development of a more comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also spiritual and moral dimensions aligned with the demands of the times. The implementation of this epistemology has the potential to produce a generation that is not only intellectually capable but also ethically and spiritually aware. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating transformative epistemology into the Islamic education curriculum, with attention to spirituality and ethics, in order to address the increasingly complex challenges of contemporary education.
