<![CDATA[Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peranan kepolisian terhadap penanggulangan judi online yang sedang marak terjadi di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peranan kepolisian dalam penanggulangan judi online dilihat dari Undang-Undang No 2 tahun 2002 tentang Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia dan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana Pasal 303, 303 bis. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan rumusan masalah yang pertama yaitu peran kepolisian terhadap penanggualangan judi online dan yang kedua hambatan kepolisian dalam menanggulangi judi online. Penelitian ini di desain dengan metode Yuridis Normatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Statue Approach dan Conseptual Approach. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan, Pertama pengimeplementasian KUHP dan Undang-Undang belum berjalan dengan maksimal. Kedua, tidak berjalan nya salah satu sistem hukum akan mempengaruhi penerapan dan pengimplementasiannya.Pertama, upaya Preventif dan Represif yang dilakukan pihak Polres Purbalingga untuk mengatasi kasus mengenai perjudian online yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat Purbalingga belum berjalan dengan efektif. Kedua, adanya ketidak efektifan dengan berjalannya unsur hukum khususnya pada legal strukturnya dilihat dari pihak Polres Purbalingga tidak pernah menangani kasus terkait perjudian online. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the police in combating online gambling as seen from Law No. 2 of 2002 concerning the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia and the Criminal Code Articles 303, 303 bis.
