Abstract

This thesis aims to analyze the water supply system investment Duri city. City water needs spines increasing in line with population growth and urban growth. Currently the water supply held by PDAM, but its capacity can not meet all the needs of the citizens, to be sufficient, the water supply system needs to be developed, one of which is by way of searching for new sources of raw water. Source of raw water in the city is very limited capacity spines and long distances. Raw water sourced from Sungai Jurong II to supply raw water 140 liters/sec for PDAM Tirta Dharma Duri which is about 26 km. Analysis of investments in PDAM Tirta Dharma Duri performed by analyzing the use of the Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Break Even Point (BEP) and Internal Rate Of Return (IRR) to determine the water supply system of investment and determine the price of water from the source of raw water to PDAM Tirta Dharma Duri IPA. The calculation of the price of raw water obtained before affixing is Rp. 981/m3.  Keywords : Analysis of investment, NVP, BCR, BEP, IRR and  the price of water.

Abstract

One of the disaster in Dumai City is a flood. This study tries to solve the problem by using a pump. In order to the pump can be able to function with optimally, it is necessary to be given temporary ponds reservoirs. The reservoirs is used to . Case study area observed is Simpang Tetap street. this study conducted a simulati accommodate the water discharge temporary before it is flow to drainage waster with pump support. The location in this study is Jalan Datuk Laksamana. In this research perform reservoirs simulation and pump, to alternate flood prevention. The discharge had been calculated by Rational method and IDF curve by Mononobe method. Ponds reservoirs sized 15000 m3(100m x 50m x 3m) requires pumping capacity of 1 m3 / sec to handle the floodwaters. So a pump 1m3 / sec can be to pump of water from ponds reservoirs to the Dumai River as channel waster.Keywords: flood, drainage system, ponds reservoirs, pumps

Abstract

Land use change in Merbau and Ukui Watershed (DAS) as an effort to fulfill the need of land for settlement and other supporting infrastructure in Pekanbaru city will increase the potential oferosion and sedimentation in the watershed. This impact will have a major impact on the functional life of lake khayangan. Geographic information system is used to assist data analysis of land use,length and slope of land and vegetation distribution. The results of the analysis show the total erosion potential of the Merbau River Basin, the Ukui River Basin and the Direct Stream is 364,610tons / year and the total of sediments entering Lake Kayangan is 459,474 tons / year, with the elevation of siltation that occurs on Lake Kayangan is 0 , 22 mm / year.Keywords: land use change, erosion and sedimentation potential, siltation.

Abstract

The function and condition of an irrigation network performance system will decrease. This due to the operation of the system for a long period of time. According to PUPR Regulation Number: 14 / PRT / M2015 in Riau Province there is a Swamp Irrigation Area (DIR) Reteh 1 Rumbai Jaya with an area of 3006 ha. The study of DIR's performance has never been done. Assessment of the performance index of DIR Reteh 1 Rumbai Jaya is based on SE Minister of Public Works Number: 02 / SE / M / 2011. In the SE, the assessment includes channels, water structures and protective dikes. Assessment on DIR Reteh Rumbai Jaya obtained the results of the network condition index of 2.16, network functions 44.25% and recommendations for action are rehabilitation; the condition of the protective embankment is good and the recommended action is maintenance. Based on the network function and condition of the protective embankment, the performance of the swamp reclamation network in DIR Reteh 1 Rumbai Jaya is obtained.Keywords : performance index, swamp irrigation, action recommendation
