<![CDATA[AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bercerita pengalaman yang mengesankan terhadap keterampilan berbicra siswa kelas III. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 93 Palembang pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu True Eksperimen dengan posttets only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas III SD Negeri 93 Palembang. Teknik sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling yang terbagi menjadi dua kelas III.A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 24 siswa dan kelas III.B sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah obsevasi dan tes. Hasil yang diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata (posttest) kelas Eksperimen 86.46 dan kelas kontrol 55.45 dan untuk uji hipotesisnya menggunakan independent sample T-test diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Nilai 0,005 sehingga Ho ditolak Artinya Ha diterima dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan yang sugnifikan hasil belajar siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan metode bercerita dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional di kelas III SD Negeri 93 Palembang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ada pengaruh metode bercerita pengalaman yang mengesankan terhadap keterampilan berbicra siswa kelas III SD Negeri 93 Palembang”.Kata Kunci : Metode Bercerita, Bahasa Indonesia, dan Keterampilan Berbicara.AbstractThe aim of this research is to determine the effect of the method of telling impressive experiences on the speaking skills of class III students. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 93 Palembang in the 2023/2024 academic year. The type of research used in this research is True Experiment with posttest only control group design. The population in this study was class III of SD Negeri 93 Palembang. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling which was divided into two classes III.A as the experimental class with 24 students and class III.B as the control class with 20 students. The instruments used in the research were observation and tests. The results obtained from the average value (posttest) for the experimental class were 86.46 and for the control class 55.45 and to test the hypothesis using the independent sample T-test, the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000. The value is 0.005 so Ho is rejected. This means that Ha is accepted, thus there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students who receive learning using the storytelling method and students who receive conventional learning in class III of SD Negeri 93 Palembang.
