Abstract

The Tourism Village sector is still a mainstay in encouraging the revival of the village economy after the pandemic. The importance of holding village-based tourism activities aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of the relevant village communities. During the Pandemic, Tourism activities were temporarily stopped but the participation of all parties was needed, including the community in the local area by helping to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability in tourist villages. Apart from being built by Astra's CSR, Labirin Village is also collaborating with the Rain Terminal Foundation to develop the 3 hectare village into a tourist village. This research aims to analyze the management policies implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic in the Kampung Labirin Tourism Village. This village is a tourist destination famous for its jungle maze, which attracted many tourists before the pandemic. However, the COVID-19 pandemic caused a significant decline in tourist visits and had a negative impact on the local economy. The results of this research show that the Kampung Labirin Tourism Village has implemented various management policies during the COVID-19 pandemic to mitigate its impacts. These policies include reducing visiting capacity, implementing strict health protocols, developing digital tourism products, and collaborating with related parties to promote safety and cleanliness.

Abstract

This study examines the potential of tourist attractions in Ciliwung Muara Bersama as an ecotourism destination in Jakarta. This location provides natural beauty and preserved Betawi cultural elements, which constitute potential for development into an attractive and sustainable ecotourism destination. However, the potential inherent in Muara Ciliwung has not been developed into ecotourism attractions to help preserve the environment and contribute to the well-being of the local community. The research method involves collecting primary and secondary data through observation and interviews. Secondary data is obtained from relevant literature studies. A qualitative descriptive approach is used to analyze the data. The research findings indicate that Ciliwung Muara Bersama has attractive tourism potential, including pristine natural beauty, the flow of the Ciliwung River, and Betawi culture. Development efforts with ecotourism principles are necessary to optimize this potential, which includes increasing active community involvement, environmental conservation, and improving supporting facilities as key factors for the success of ecotourism development. This research emphasizes that the development of Ciliwung Muara Bersama as an ecotourism destination requires a holistic approach that considers environmental, cultural, and economic aspects. By addressing the existing challenges, the potential of this destination can be optimally realized, providing benefits for the environment, local communities, and visiting tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential utilization of Tebet Eco Park as a sustainable tourism destination. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, using descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOC analysis. The data collection method was carried out by non-participatory field observations, interviews with 10 resource persons, and literature studies. The results showed that ecologically, Tebet Eco Park has a well-maintained biodiversity of flora and fauna. In addition, tourist visits contribute to increasing the turnover of street vendors by up to 30%. Therefore, economic potential can be maximized with several strategies such as management cooperation with cooperatives or community groups. From the cultural aspect, efforts to preserve Betawi culture in the national park are still lacking, so it needs to be improved through festivals and participation of local artists. Meanwhile, various environmentally friendly initiatives have reached 60% of this potential, so they need to be developed by utilizing environmentally friendly technology. In conclusion, Tebet Eco Park is ideal for development as a sustainable tourist destination by integrating economy and culture.
