Abstract

This study discusses the implement of posyandu for the elderly in the work area of the Jua Gaek health center. This study aims to find out how effective implementation of the elderly posyandu program in the working area of Jua Gaek health center, the factors that become obstacles in the implementation of the elderly posyandu program as well as efforts made to improve the implementation of the elderly posyandu program. This research is qualitative research with descriptive method. Then the data is tested for validity by source triangulation which is then analyzed by data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the implementation of the posyandu program in the working area of the Jua Gaek health center has not been effective, one of the causes is that the community lacks understanding of the elderly posyandu program so that the elderly posyandu program does not reach the elderly achievement targets if the target is not achieved then the goals of the Posyandu for the elderly are also it has not been fully achieved and changes in the health of the elderly have not yet been seen due to the lack of participation of the elderly who come to the posyandu.
