Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of compensation on turnover intention on employees of the production department, a case study of a garment company in Bandung City. The research uses methods of qualitative analysis and data collection methods with interviews, documentation and library research. This research population is the whole of employees associated with a garment company in the city of Bandung. The validity and reliability tests in this study use triangulation. There are three processes of data analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The result of this study is that the analysis of compensation is a factor causing turnover intention. It can be said that compensation to employees of the production part of a garment company in Bandung City is in the bad category. Results have been obtained which indicate that the employee's current compensation is not sufficient to meet employee needs. This is because of the company's lack of attention in giving a fair and decent salary to every employee. Besides that the turnover intention on employees of the production part of a garment company in Bandung City is in the high category. The result was that as much as 70% (7 employees) had a desire to leave the company to get a better job. To conclude, the company has violated a number of state rules relating to fair pay rules that violate the Regulations of the Minister of Employment of the Republic of Indonesia No. 18 Year 2022 Article 2 Paragraph (1), and violates the accuracy of pay timing of section 61 of the Government Regulations (PP) No. 36 Year 2021 On Employment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational culture and work motivation variables, both simultaneously and partially, on teacher performance variables at SMK Bakti Kencana Cimahi. This research uses a quantitative approach to describe whether or not there is an influence of organizational culture variables (X1) and work motivation (X2) on teacher performance (Y). This research uses primary data through questionnaires distributed to 37 respondents. The respondents in this research were teachers at Bakti Kencana Cimahi Vocational School. This research uses quantitative descriptive and quantitative associative analysis methods using the coefficient of determination and multiple regression analysis. The data obtained was then processed using the SPSS 26.0 application. The results of the research show that the organizational culture at SMK Bakti Kencana Cimahi is included in the criteria Enough, with maximum criteria very strong. Work motivation is included in the criteria Enough with maximum criteria very high. Teacher performance is within the criteria Enough with maximum criteria Very good. The results of subsequent research show that organizational culture and work motivation simultaneously influence teacher performance variables. Apart from that, organizational culture has a positive influence on teacher performance, as well as work motivation.

Abstract

                The most important thing for an institution is human resource management. Good job satisfaction will have a positive impact on the institution, in improving employee job satisfaction by observing employee work motivation and work-life balance. From the findings of the data on tardiness and absenteeism, it can be seen that there is a high rate of unexplained absenteeism among employees in the finance department of the Cimahi City DPRD Secretariat. This investigation purposes to identificate how much work-life balance and work motivation, both separately and together, impact employees' job satisfaction in the Cimahi City DPRD Secretariat's non-civil servant financial separation. This is a quantitative study with respondents being all 33 non-civil servant employees in the finance department of the Cimahi City DPRD Secretariat. Questionnaires with a semantically distinct scale for measurements were employed for gathering data, and SPSS version 27 was utilized as a data processing tool for descriptive and associative methods of data analysis.  Both work motivation and work-life balance have a favorable impact on employee job satisfaction, according to the findings of this study.  Additionally, the job satisfaction of non-ASN finance department employees at the Cimahi City DPRD Secretariat is influenced by both work motivation and work-life balance at the same time.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources. Advances in education occur every year. One of the official educational institutions prioritizing the development of student potential is Mts Nurul Iman Sindangkerta in West Bandung Regency. The aim of the research is to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of the physical work environment and job satisfaction on teacher work motivation. The method used is a quantitative method with a multiple linear regression analysis approach and the coefficient of determination using SPSS 25. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 33 teachers as respondents. The research results show that the physical work environment has a positive effect on teacher work motivation. Simultaneously, the physical work environment and job satisfaction significantly influence teacher work motivation. This means that with a good physical work environment and a high level of job satisfaction among teachers, the motivation of the teachers will also increase.
