Abstract

Line Webtoon comics can be used as a digital da'wah tool that conveys da'wah messages through a cultural approach. But the problem is, even though it can be used as a means of digital da'wah, Line Webtoon Comics actually develop through industrial interests and media capitalism. The industrialization process for Line Webtoon Comics can develop well because the process uses what is known as glocalization. This research analyzes the meaning of digital da'wah in the Line Web Comic Ton Laa Tahzan: Don't be Sad episodes #88 #89#90 and #116. The research method used is textual analysis with semiotic theory. This research found digital preaching in The Line Webtoon: Laa Tahzan Don't Be Sad in four episodes, namely using matchsticks, glasses, hijab, beach, translated text of the Koran and hadith. The markers used in the four episodes are Arno, Hatta, Uda Sheng, Aliya and Aya. The signs used are learning, discipline, knowledge, patience, honesty, not lying, the power of Allah SWT, piety, faith, power of Allah SWT, surrender to Allah SWT, mistakes towards Allah SWT, injustice towards Allah SWT. If we conclude, the meaning of digital preaching of this comic is divided into three important points, namely aqidah, morals and muamalah. The denotational meaning is the importance of knowledge, the importance of fasting, the meaning of the tarawih prayer rakat, and the prohibition of shirk towards Allah SWT. The current connotation means that Muslims have not yet developed knowledge, fasting that has not been practiced properly, conflict due to differences in the rakats of tarawih prayers, and shirk towards Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Every Day Muatiara Al-Qur'an Program using SWOT analysis. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection methods with interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study are the Every Day Mutiara Al-Qur'an program that the meaning of every is interpreted that every day, the hope is that no day is missed without contemplating the Qur'an. The meaning of pearl is in accordance with the name of the jewelry that everyone likes. The hope is that every member will get worldly and afterlife jewelry by contemplating the Qur'an. The Qur'an is the Book of Allah that should receive great attention in life. The use of the name EMQ is an abbreviation that is easy to remember and full of meaning. So that everyone is happy with the beauty of the meaning of the Qur'an by contemplating it. With the EMQ Program via WhatsApp, there is a hope that all members will get pearls from the Qur'an that are more beautiful than pearls in the form of worldly jewelry because the Qur'an is worldly jewelry and the afterlife jewelry. The EMQ program using WhatsApp has not been effective because each member only submits the results of their tabbur through the WhatsApp group. This program needs to build a new management model using social media so that the EMG program can be effectively implemented by members.

Abstract

This study was conducted to interpret the news framing carried out by the online media Okezone.com regarding the appearance of Ganjar Pranowo in the Adzan television broadcast. This study is a qualitative type using Robert M. Entmant's media framing text analysis as an analytical tool consisting of. The conclusion of the study is the define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgments, and treatment recommendations Okezone.com considers that the broadcast of Ganjar Pranowo's adzan on television is not part of identity politics. Okezone.com's framing of Ganjar Pranowo's side can be seen from the news titles exposed in the Okezone.com media and its contents which only report on people and parties who have a point of view that rejects the broadcast of Ganjar Pranowo's adzan as a form of identity politics and is included in campaign violations. Okezone invites the public to see Ganjar Pranowo's vision and vision and not on identity politics through the broadcast of the adzan. The broadcast of the call to prayer featuring Ganjar Pranowo is only a form of obedience of an ordinary citizen and not identity politics so it does not violate broadcasting regulations and campaign activities. The solution to the problem offered by Okezone.com is to invite the public to focus on the ideas of the presidential candidate rather than seeing identity politics in the broadcast of Ganjar Pranowo's call to prayer

Abstract

This study analyzes the semiotic meaning of the da'wah posters on the Instagram account @hijrahfest based on Islamic values (specifically the prophetic hadith). The research method is qualitative with a mass media textual analysis. Data collection was done through documentation and observation of the Instagram account @hijrahfest. The data analysis method used is Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotics. The conclusion of this study shows, in terms of semiotics, the da'wah poster on the Instagram account @hijrahfest contains messages of sharia and morality based on the Qur'an and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW. The Qur'an invites believers to repent and return to Allah SWT, while the Hadith emphasizes the importance of hijrah both physically and spiritually. The da'wah message reminds Muslims to leave actions that contradict sharia, such as hurting parents and neglecting prayer. The connotation that arises shows that although there is a desire for salvation, behavior that does not align with Islamic teachings remains a challenge in the lives of Muslims.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm to analyze the social meanings in the symbols of the Instagram posters from @MuslimDesignerCommunity. The focus is on how meanings are produced and interpreted within the cultural and communication context of da'wah. Data was collected through documentation and digital observation, with a semiotic analysis using Ferdinand de Saussure's theory on six of the most popular posters published on the @MuslimDesignerCommunity account in June-July 2024. The research concludes that the da'wah message in the posters published by the @muslimdesigner account during June-July 2014 covers three key aspects: akhlak (morality), aqidah (faith), and ibadah (worship). The moral message emphasizes the importance of guarding the heart, reflecting on the Qur'an, collaborating to solve problems, and making the best use of time. In terms of faith, the message encourages submission to Allah SWT, repentance from sinful acts, and relying solely on Him. Meanwhile, the worship message calls on the community to fast on the days of Arafah and Ashura, as well as to pray to Allah SWT. Semiotic analysis shows that the posters convey Islamic values in line with the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, as reflected in Surah Al-Ahzab (33:21) which states that the Prophet Muhammad SAW is a "good example" (uswatun hasanah), and the Hadith encouraging fasting on Arafah and Ashura as acts of worship that bring one closer to Allah SWT.
