Abstract

ABSTRACT Anemia in pregnancy is a condition of low red blood cell count, which is characterized by a hemoglobin level <11.0 g/dl. The increase in the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia is due, in part, to anemia, which has an impact on premature birth and low birth weight babies. Anemia in pregnant women will have an impact on 20%–40% of maternal deaths, such as heart failure, pre-eclampsia, postpartum hemorrhage, and postpartum infection. Knowing the comparison of giving soy milk and sweet corn to increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with anemia. This research uses quasi-experimental methods with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population is all pregnant women who carry out examinations on as many as 30 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling by dividing 15 people into groups for giving soy milk 250 ml/day for 10 days and 15 people for giving sweet corn 100 gr/day for 10 days. The instruments used are easy-touch and observation sheets. Analysis using the Independent T Test and T-Paired T Test. The hemoglobin level of pregnant women before being given soy milk was <11 gr/dL with an average of 10.53 gr/dL in the anemia category of 15 people (100%) and became >11 gr/dL with an average of 11.32 gr/dL in the category of not anemia in as many as 10 people (67%) after consuming soy milk. Hemoglobin level before being given sweet corn was 11 gr/dL with an average of 10.47 gr/dl in the anemia category; 15 people (100%) increased to >11 gr/dL with an average of 11.29 gr/dL in the no category of anemia; as many as 11 people (73%) increased after consuming sweet corn. The results of the bivariate analysis obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there was a significant effect on hemoglobin levels in the soy milk and sweet corn groups. There is a comparison of giving soy milk and sweet corn to increase hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with a difference of 0.5 gr/dL, which means that both have an effect on significantly increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women with a p value of 0.000. Keywords: Sweet Corn, Soy Milk, Hemoglobin Levels  ABSTRAK Anemia pada kehamilan adalah kondisi rendahnya jumlah sel darah merah yang ditandai dengan kadar hemoglobin <11,0 g/dl. Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Indonesia meningkat di sebabkan salah satunya karena anemia yang berdampak pada persalinan premature, bayi berat badan lahir rendah. Anemia pada ibu hamil akan berdampak pada 20% – 40% terhadap kejadian kematian ibu seperti kegagalan jantung, pre eklamsia, perdarahan postpartum dan infeksi postpartum. Mengetahui perbandingan pemberian susu kedelai dan jagung manis terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil dengan anemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain one-group pretest-postest. Populasi adalah semua ibu hamil yang melakukan pemeriksaan sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling dengan membagi menjadi 15 orang untuk pemberian susu kedelai 250 ml/hari selama 10 hari dan 15 orang untuk pemberian jagung manis 100 gr/hari selama 10 hari. Instumen yang digunakan adalah easy touch dan lembar observasi. Analisis menggunakan uji T Independent Test dan T-Paired T Test. Kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil sebelum diberikan susu kedelai adalah <11 gr/dL dengan rata-rata 10,53 gr/dL dalam kategori anemia sebanyak 15 orang (100%) dan menjadi >11gr/dL dengan rata-rata 11,32 gr/dL dalam kategori tidak anemia sebanyak 10 orang (67%) setelah mengkonsumsi susu kedelai. Kadar hemoglobin sebelum diberikan jagung manis <11gr/dL dengan rata-rata 10,47 gr/dl dalam kategori anemia 15 orang (100%), meningkat menjadi >11 gr/dL dengan rata-rata 11,29 gr/dL dalam kategori tidak anemia sebanyak 11 orang (73%) setelah mengkonsumsi jagung manis. Hasil analisis bivariate didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000 <0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dengan kadar hemoglobin pada kelompok susu kedelai dengan jagung manis. Terdapat perbandingan pemberian susu kedelai dan jagung manis terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil dengan selisih 0,5 gr/dL yang artinya keduanya sama-sama memiliki pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kadar Hemoglobin pada ibu hamil secara signifikan dengan nilai p value 0,000. Kata Kunci: Jagung Manis, Susu Kedelai, Kadar Hemoglobin

Abstract

Persalinan adalah proses alamiah yang sering disertai nyeri, ketidak nyamanan, dan kecemasan, yang dapat menghambat kemajuan persalinan dan meningkatkan risiko operasi caesar. Nyeri persalinan terutama disebabkan oleh kontraksi rahim dan dilatasi serviks. Metode birthball dan jarik shaking the apple tree merupakan tindakan nonfarmakologi yang dapat membantu mengurangi nyeri persalinan, memperpendek kala I persalinan, dan membantu ibu bersalin melakukan perubahan posisi yang optimal. Berdasarkan studi di BPM Nuri Afanti Lawang Malang . intervensi menggunakan teknik birthball dan jarik shaking the apple tree belum pernah dilakukan.Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi metode birthingball dan jarik shaking the apple tree terhadap nyeri ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif di BPM Nuri Afanti Lawang Kabupaten Malang Tahun 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dan desain one group pretest posttest without control group. Populasi adalah ibu bersalin kala I Fase Aktif dengan accidental sampling dan didapatkan sebanyak 25 responden. Uji statistic menggunakan Paired sample t-test untuk mengetahui perbedan dan pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi. Sebelum intervensi mayoritas responden mengalami kategori jauh lebih sangat nyeri sebanyak 11 responden (44%) dengan nilai rata-rata 4,67. Setelah diberikan intervensi mayoritas responden mengalami penurunan kategori menjadi tidak nyeri sama sekali sebanyak 7 responden (32%) dengan nilai rata-rata 2,79. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua test dengan nilai selisih rata-rata adalah 1.876. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh kombinasi teknik birthingball dan jarik shaking the apple tree terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri pada ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif di BPM Nuri Afanti dengan nilai p-value 0,000.

Abstract

As many as 91.9% of women experience pain during the first stage of labor. Pain that cannot be managed properly can lead to prolonged labor which is a direct cause of labor complications. This can result in the death of the mother and baby because the mother's breathing and pulse rate increase, consequently disrupting the flow of blood and oxygen to the placenta. Labor pain can be managed pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Nonpharmacological therapies are considered safer and more comfortable to be given to first-time laboring mothers. These include hydrotherapy with warm water and the use of jasmine aromatherapy. Warm compresses on painful areas and the content of compounds in jasmine aromatherapy such as linalool and linalyl acetate have analgesic effects that are beneficial in overcoming pain. To determine the effect of combined hydrotherapy and jasmine aromatherapy inhalation on reducing pain intensity.The sampling of this study used a quasy experimental method with a one group pretest and posttest research design. The sample of this study was 37 laboring mothers. Bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon test. The results of this study The results of statistical tests obtained before being given action the majority of pain in respondents was severe pain as many as 27 respondents (73%), and after being given action the majority of respondents were in the mild pain category as many as 19 respondents (51.4%). There is a difference in the average value before the action of 7.27 and the average after the action of 3.51 with a p value of 0.000 where (p <0.05) so that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the combination of hydrotherapy and jasmine aromatherapy inhalation on reducing the intensity of pain in laboring mothers during stage I at Bhakti Mulia Hospital in 2024. This confirms that the combination of hydrotherapy and jasmine aromatherapy inhalation does have a real effect in reducing the intensity of pain in laboring women.
