Abstract

This research aims to investigate how online customer reviews and ratings influence purchasing behavior on the Shopee e-commerce platform. Utilizing online survey methods, data were collected from students at the University of Bandar Lampung who are active Shopee users to understand the relationship between online customer reviews and ratings with purchasing decisions. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to test the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. Findings indicate that both factors significantly impact purchasing decisions on Shopee. The implications of these results highlight the importance of managing and improving the quality of customer reviews and ratings to create a positive shopping experience and motivate more purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms. This research provides valuable insights for e-commerce practitioners to optimize their marketing strategies and brand reputation management on platforms like Shopee. By understanding the crucial role of customer reviews and ratings, companies can develop more effective strategies to enhance consumer trust and drive sales growth. Furthermore, this research contributes theoretically by expanding understanding of the factors influencing purchasing decisions in the context of e-commerce.

Abstract

The research addresses the issue of inadequate employee discipline, as evidenced by absenteeism from 2019 to 2023. The objective of this study is to assess the impact of motivation and work discipline on employee performance. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involves the participation of employees from Rengganis Restaurant. The entire population, consisting of 64 individuals, serves as the respondents for this study. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, with the application of a regression analysis formula to test hypotheses. A Likert scale questionnaire is employed, and the data is processed using the SPSS 29 program. The findings reveal that, individually, motivation does not influence employee performance significantly, whereas work discipline has a considerable impact on employee performance. Furthermore, both motivation and work discipline collectively play a role in influencing employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of online sales as well as consumer confidence on buying interest in clothing products in Shopee e-commerce. This research method uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are active Shopee users. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the relationship between the variables of online sales, consumer confidence, and purchase intention of clothing products. The results of the analysis show that online sales have a significant positive effect on buying interest in clothing products at Shopee. In addition, consumer trust also has a significant positive effect on purchase intention of clothing products on the platform. These results show the importance of an effective online sales strategy and building consumer trust in increasing consumer buying interest in clothing products in Shopee e-commerce.
