Abstract

Early mobilization is a policy to as soon as possible guide the patient out of bed and guide her as soon as possible to walk. Postpartum infection is a morbidity and mortality for postpartum mothers, postpartum care is needed in the postpartum period because it is a critical period for mothers. It is estimated that 60% of maternal deaths due to pregnancy occur after delivery and 50% of postpartum deaths occur within the first 24 hours postpartum. The aim was to determine the relationship between knowledge and parity of normal postpartum mothers on early mobilization at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang. Analytical survey research method with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all normal postpartum mothers who were treated at Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic Palembang. The research sample was taken purposively with a total of 26 respondents. The results of the Chi Square statistical test obtained P-Value = 0.005 <∂ (0.05), which means that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge of normal postpartum mothers and early mobilization at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang in 2020. And the results of the Chi Square statistical test obtained P-Value = 0.049 <∂ (0.05) which means that there is a significant relationship between the parity of postpartum mothers and early mobilization at the Abi Ummi DW Sarmadi Clinic in Palembang.

Abstract

Early Breastfeeding Initiation is the process of a baby breastfeeding immediately after birth, where the baby is allowed to find its mother's nipples, early breastfeeding initiation will greatly help in the continuation of exclusive breastfeeding. This research is an analytical survey research with a cross sectional design, namely research conducted by observing simultaneously to find out the independent and dependent variables. The results of the chi square test showed a p-value of 0.005 <0.05, this indicates that there is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about IMD. The conclusion in this study is that most respondents have knowledge about EBI in the good category, namely as many as 20 respondents (62.5%), some respondents have attitudes about IMD in the positive category, namely 17 respondents (53.1%), and there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about IMD (p-value = 0.005).

Abstract

Tetanus neonatorum and maternal tetanus can increase maternal mortality and infant mortality rates. One of the prevention of tetanus is to immunize pregnant women with tetanus toxoid. Pregnant women who do not do TT immunization because they have several factors that affect the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization, namely age, education, occupation, parity and maternal knowledge which can have an impact on increasing the incidence of neonatal tetanus. This study aims to describe the factors that influence the completeness of tetenuas toxoid immunization in third trimester pregnant women. This research method is descriptive quantitative using cross sectional. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women in Poskesdes Desa Bumi Serdang, Tungkal Ilir Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency in 2021. The sample consisted of 11 respondents using nonprobability sampling technique, namely the total population. The results showed that the factors that influenced the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization for pregnant women were age and knowledge of the mother. Of the 11 respondents, most of the mothers had mature age, namely 9 people (81.8%) and most of them had high knowledge, namely 8 people (72.7%). The more pregnant women have a mature age and have high knowledge, it will affect their behavior and attitudes in choosing and making the right choices in health services.

Abstract

Child development is all changes that occur in children seen from various aspects, including physical (motor), language, psychosocial, socialization, moral, and belief aspects. Gross motor skills are body movements using large muscles or all limbs influenced by the child's own maturity. While fine motor is a movement that only involves certain body parts and is carried out by small muscles.This research is a quantitative study using a cross sectional approach where the independent and dependent variables are collected at the same time. The research population is all mothers who have children aged 3-5 years who attend RA. Amanah Al Fatonah, Mengulak Village, OKU Timur Regency in 2021, as many as 27 people. The sampling technique was Total Sampling technique so that the number of samples in this study was 27 respondents.The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and motor development of children aged 3-5 years with p value = 0.04, and there was a relationship between education and motor development of children aged 3-5 years with a p value of 0.004.Mother's knowledge and education play an important role to help optimal child development. With knowledge, mothers will obtain information, including how to properly care for children, maintain child health, and stimulate child development.
