Abstract

Seizing the region became the main issue of conflict triggers. This can be seen from the Case of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The conflict has lasted longer and there is no acceptable solu-tion. Even a hard time to be war between the Arab-Israeli conflict in 1967. Because of concern in this conflict, Muammar Gaddafi, wrote a slim book titled The White Book, which offers a so-lution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict resolution. According to Muammar Gaddafi cases this conflict can be resolved by establishing a democratic country in the region location between Is-rael and Palestine, which was named the country Isratine (a combination of Israel and Pales-tine). But this idea has many problems. Israel still wants all Palestinian land. On the other hand, Palestinians who felt that the land has been taken by Israel, and Palestinians want to re-claim land they believe is their right. Feud between the two sides of this country are increa-singly frequent. Based on the study of this problem, this study concludes that Isratine is a uto-pian concept of peace. Keywords: Social conflict, International conflict, Soft diplomacy.

Abstract

Indonesia is still experiencing colonialism, its just a different form of colonization. In the past, we did it with violence or now colonialism is done using a better method of colonialism through economy, culture, education, technology, etc. or in other words, colonialism is called neo liberalism. Indonesia is one of the goals of developed countries to be colonized by using the colonization method of the new model. Some education experts organized by State Universities to become BHMNs carried out by the Government of Indonesia are proof of the colonization of new models in the world of education. Education liberalization is one of the governments policies to improve the education state in Indonesia which is one of the conditions proposed by the World Bank so that Indonesia can be used to help people to develop modalities for increased costs. The role of the World Bank here is to provide loan funds for education in Indonesia. This method is not effective in improving the education system in Indonesia because there are still many people who cannot afford it. This should be the governments attention, because as we do for education, especially in terms of improving lives to be better in order to deal with the turbulence of the development of an increasingly advanced era.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the conflict of authority in the relationship between the Central Government and the Government of DKI Jakarta is in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method and data collection techniques in the form of literature study. The results of this study indicate that the conflict of authority between the Central Government and the DKI Jakarta Government occurs due to the different orientations and interests of each government. Since detecting this virus in Jakarta in January 2020, the DKI Jakarta Government wants the issue of the Covid-19 pandemic to become a priority issue that must be responded to quickly because it involves the health of the local community. But on the other hand, the Central Government at that time was focusing on increasing economic growth by promoting the tourism and transportation sectors. This difference in views has an impact on the different policies taken so that they often overlap and make the handling of the Covid pandemic less than optimal. However, hierarchically, the Government of DKI Jakarta should follow the steps of the central government to avoid overlapping policies and avoid conflicts of authority.
