Abstract

In the current global changes, there are also impacts, such as the difficulty in finding experienced and trustworthy construction workers. However, the current development of web-based information systems brings significant benefits in various job aspects, including distance, time, and accessibility. This encourages the construction industry to utilize technology, systems, and information to provide more efficient and easily accessible services to the public. Confronting these challenges, the SIPAKUPROY platform was created as a solution. Its goal is to facilitate the search for reliable and experienced construction workers through a digital platform. The analysis during the creation of this platform revealed several issues, especially in transitioning from a manual bidding system to a digital one. This transition process is supported by the waterfall model research method, as well as an analysis of reliable software and hardware needs. System design also includes the creation of a database using Logical Record Structured (LRS) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), along with a user-friendly design interface. This process is carried out in an effort to design the web-based project labor calling information system (SIKUPROY). The entire sequence of designing and creating the SIPAKUPROY platform aims to provide convenience to individuals who want to build houses but feel uncertain due to a lack of connections or relationships with construction workers. Through this platform, the process of finding and selecting construction workers is expected to become more reliable, efficient, and aligned with the community's needs. Abstract

The batik industry produces waste containing dyes from the process of dyeing batik cloth. Remazol brilliant blue (RBB) is a reactive dyestuff, used in the fabric dyeing process. RBB levels in waste can be reduced by means of adsorption using activated banana stem charcoal. This study aims to make, characterize and test the quality of activated charcoal from banana stems, determine the optimum conditions, adsorption capacity and RBB adsorption isotherm model and its application in absorbing RBB in Bogor batik industrial waste. The results showed that the intensity of the functional groups in the FTIR spectrum of activated charcoal was greater, with the surface morphology in SEM indicating that the pores of the activated charcoal were more open than the charcoal before activation. The quality of activated banana stem charcoal meets the requirements of SNI No.06-3730-1995 for 0.63% moisture content, 13.30% volatile matter content, 80.67% carbon content and 88.65 mg/g methylene blue absorption capacity. Optimum adsorption conditions occurred at pH 8, contact time 120 minutes, and 1 gram weight of activated charcoal for 50 mL of batik waste. The adsorption process suitable for the adsorption of remazol brilliant blue is the Freundlich isotherm with a maximum adsorption capacity of 10.7411 mg/g and an adsorption efficiency of 96.29%. Characterization of batik waste after adsorption meets the requirements of PermenLHK No.16 of 2019 for parameters pH 8.37, color test 194.3 PtCo and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) 38.6 mg/L.

Abstract

The increasing population has resulted in a higher volume of waste at the Galuga landfill, generating leachate that potentially contaminates the surrounding shallow groundwater. Groundwater serves as a crucial source for domestic needs; thus, its contamination poses serious health risks and threatens ecological balance. This study aims to analyze the quality of shallow groundwater around the Galuga landfill and to map its spatial distribution as a foundation for sustainable environmental monitoring and management. The research methods included collecting groundwater samples from seven representative points along the groundwater flow direction, analyzing physical parameters (temperature, pH, turbidity), chemical parameters (Fe, Mn, NO₃⁻, and Cl⁻), and microbiological parameters (E. coli and total coliform), followed by calculating the Water Quality Index (WQI) using the NSF-WQI method. The findings revealed that several parameters, particularly Fe, Mn, E. coli, and total coliform, exceeded the permissible drinking water standards established by the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010. The average WQI score of 61.30 indicates a moderate water quality category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the shallow groundwater surrounding the Galuga landfill has been contaminated and is not suitable for direct consumption as drinking water. Consequently, it is recommended to implement more effective leachate management systems and conduct regular groundwater quality monitoring to prevent further contamination and safeguard community health and environmental sustainability.
