Abstract

Economic growth is an important element in regional development. Economic growth from year to year is presented in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB). This study aims to determine the growth profile of the mining sector on the economy of the Manokwari Regency area as information and consideration in development planning. From the results of research using shift share analysis, the mining sector for the period 2012 to 2019 is a sector with slow growth but has high competitiveness compared to other regions. 2019-2021 shifts with the mining sector experiencing rapid growth but not being competitive.
