Abstract: The purpose of this research are to explain the types and the forming meaning context of some minor sentences used in Kick Andy talk show. The type of this study is qualitative research with descriptive method. The source of the data as the object of the research is Kick Andy talk show in Metro TV. The data collection tecnique was done by using observing note taking tecnique the 5 episode in February to early March 2018 of Kick Andy talk show in different topics. The result of the research showed that there were 5 types of unstructured minor sentences which is used in; calling, greeting, the title, ordering expression, ordering instruction, and the type of structured minor sentences elips and marginal sentences.The context forming the meaning of minor sentences were known and analyzed based on pragmatics side by using contextual meaning theory. The context forming the meaning of minor sentences is based on the context of linguistic contexts, emotional contexts, situational contexts, cultural contexts, contexts of context, contexts of context, formal contexts of speech, contexts of moods of speakers / listeners, time context, place context, object context , the context of completeness of speech / hearing, speaker / listener context, or language context.Key Words: minor sentences, talk show, kick andy.

Abstract : The use of publicity media Prospective Candidate Governor of the Riau period 2018-2023 strongly assessed the candidate's goal of sitting in the chair they dreamed. Use of media publications that are often encountered, such as banners, billboards, on social media. Media publications are not spared from using convincing marker. The use of markers is essential for optimizing campaign sending messages. The aim of this study is to determine what marker and meaning contains in the media publication candidate governor of Riau period 2018-2023. The type of research used is qualitative research. Used techniques for data collection are documentation techniques. The first step is to take photos of banners, billboards and screenshots of electronic media containing the publication of the Governor Candidate Riau Candidate. Secondly, look up the publishing media that is supposed to have the same content. The results indicate that there is a convincing marker in the language of the publishing media candidate governor of Riau. First, the claim is a statement with a convincing purpose, divided into two, ie an explicit claim (contains a solemn invitation) and an implicit claim (which contains a call in secret). Secondly, the warrant is a statement that has been packaged in the form of an invitation or persuasion and is not impressed being forced to elect the candidate governor. Third, convincing data based on data or facts to reinforce the argumentation of the Governor Candidate's message. It is not enough to understand the convincing meaning of the publication media, but it sometimes requires us to understand more deeply in terms of meaning and context. Indirect meanings will be more difficult to interpret than direct intentions. That is why the opponent has to worry about the context surrounding the speech.Keywords: marker, persuasive, media

Abstract: This study titled is Ilocutionary Speech Acts in A Collection of Selected Short Stories Riau Pos 2013 Melabuh Kesumat. This study will describe the form and function of ilocutionary speech acts in a collection of selected short stories by Riau Pos 2013. The research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study are all dialogues between executivies with ilocutionary language forms and their functions. The data is obtained using documentary techniques and notes. Then the data is analyzed by identification and classification based on the form and function of ilocutionary speech acts on the dialogue between the characters in the short story.from the data collected in the collection of short stories, it was found that 58 form of ilocutionary speech acts were classified into five form, inculding assertive, judicial, commissive, expressive, declarative speech acts and 41 speech data that were functions of ilocutionary speech acts, sociable, competitive, and collaborative.Key Words: Ilocution Speech Acts, Short Stories, Riau Pos, Melabuh Kesumat

Abstract: This article discusses synesthesia on facebook. The purpose of this study is to describe the pattern of synesthesia, describing the change in meaning and describing the function of synesthesia. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with documentation method. Sources of data come from the status of Facebook user accounts taken from June to September with a total of 102 data. Based on the research, synesthesia of the sensory absorption patterns found on facebook includes cool, soft, rough, sharp, sweet, bitter, smooth, high, dim, low, flat, sour and tasty. And there are 8 patterns in the five senses found on facebook found, namely: (1) taste senses to the auditory senses as much as 36 data, (2) sensory taste to the auditory sense as much as 12 data, (3) sense of smell to the auditory sense as much as 1 data , (4) senses of taste to the visual sense as many as 42 data, (5) sense of taste to the sense of sight as much as 5 data, (6) sense of sight to the auditory sense as much as 4 data, (7) sense of taste to sense of smell as much as 1 data, and (8) taste senses to the sense of smell as much as 1 data. From the eight sensory patterns found on facebook, it turns out that the data patterned senses tasting into the senses are the most common among the other sensory patterns, as many as 42 data. This exchange between sensory responses to one another turns out to be strongly influenced by the context of the sentence. Likewise with changes in meaning, and the function of synesthesia is strongly influenced by the context of the sentence.Keywords: synesthesia, and, facebook

Abstrac: The purpose of this research was to discuss the speech dysfemism ofBangkinang market traditional traders. This research purposed to describe the formand meaning of dysfemism spoken by Bangkinang market traders. In this research, theresearch data source is the Bangkinang market trader. The research data was obtainedfrom recordings and field notes of merchant conversations containing disfemism. Thedata collection technique of research on Bangkinang market traders' speech dysfemismis observation, field notes, and recordings by looking for words and sentences thatcontain disfemism. this method is operationalized by collecting data that is relevant tothe writing problem. The analysis technique used in analyzing data in words andsentences containing disfemism is descriptive analysis techniques. Descriptive analysistechniques are used to describe the form and meaning of speech dysfemism Bangkinangmarket traders. The data of this research amounted to 30 data consisting of 20 wordform data, 5 data form phrases, and 5 forms of expressions.Key Words: Dysfemism, speech , Bangkinang.

Abstact: This study to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between the School Literacy Movement and reading interest with the results of learning Indonesian. This research is a quantitative study with a type of correlation. The subjects in this study were eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit with a total sample of 83 students. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire about the School Literacy Movement and reading interest and report cards in Indonesian. Test the validity of the instrument calculated using the Product Moment correlation formula from Karl Pearson, and the instrument reliability test was calculated using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Analysis prerequisite test consisted of normality test, linearity test and homogeneity test. Hypothesis testing is done by Product Moment correlation analysis to test the first and second hypotheses. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive and significant relationship between the School Literacy Movement and the learning outcomes of Indonesian eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Sungai Apit, this was indicated by r 0.374 greater than rtable 0.261 and the calculated coefficient 0, 00 is less than the price of Î± 0.05. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between reading interest and learning outcomes of class VIII SMPN 1 Sungai Apit, this is indicated by rcount 0.435 greater than rtable 0.261 and the calculated coefficient value is 0.00 less than the price of Î± 0 , 05. Abstract: This research entitled the correlation understanding of exposition text with exposition text writing skills of VIII grade students of Junior High School PGRI Pekanbaru. This research aims to describe the correlation understanding of exposition text and writing skills exposition text of VIII grade students of Junior Highh School PGRI Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitativeresearch with descriptive methods. The data of this study arein the form of an objective test score understanding of exposition text with the performance test scores writing skills in exposition text writing sjkills for VIII grade students of Junior High School PGRI Pekanbaru. The results of the reserach were found (1) understanding of the exposition text of class VIII Pekanbaru PGRI Middle School students was in sufficient qualification (63.40) and had not yet fulfilled the KKM (63.40 <80.00), (2) exposition text writing skills of junior high school students PGRI Pekanbaru is in sufficient qualification (59.85) and has not fulfilled KKM (59.85 <80.00), and (3) there is a significant correlation between understanding of the exposition text and the writing skills of exposition text of class VIII students of Junior High School PGRI Pekanbaru degree of freedom n-1 and significant level of 95%.
